Will you answer four questions and give me straight answers from your heart and the part of you that you would consider a good person? Lets not even say these questions are about Brushy Creek, just any puppymill.

1. Do you think that someone that sells say 10 different breeds of dogs and probably sells more than 500 dogs a year a puppymill? Yes or No?

2. Do you think it is ok for someone to sell dogs that they know are sick to people just to put money in their pockets? Yes or No?

3. Would it be good business to take back sick dogs and not even treating them and knowing they are sick turn around and sell them to the next person looking for a puppy? Yes or No?

4. If this happened to you and you paid big bucks for a dog and got a sick dog and every attempt of yours was shunned to try and discuss it with them, would you be angry? Yes or No?

I just sent a e-mail to Oprah.com. There is a place to suggest story ideas for the show. I have watched her for many many years and I don't recall her ever doing anything on puppy mills. I just read this thread yeaterday for the first time. It took me a few hours to get through it. Animal cruelty of any kind just makes my blood boil.

1. Well anyone who sells large quantities of dogs would be considered a puppy mill in my mind. My definition of Large quantities is over 20 a year IMO
anyone who sells dogs is in it for the money I don't care what they say. (Or it wouldn't be done) People don't do something to lose money.

This is a relatively short story compared to what we have planned later this month. I will keep you updated. For those of you wondering, the attorney for David Moore decided not to comment on the allegations. That shocking news was followed by her claim that Mr. Moore was out of town with a sick relative. Judging from the complaints reviewed from people who tried to reach Mr. Moore over the years regarding purchases, he seems to have extraordinarily bad luck when it comes to ill relatives living in Ireland. Just in case his attorney had received bad information, we plan to station a free-lance photographer near his home just in case he shows up and would like to tell his side of the story. But of course, I am sure he is in Ireland. We offered to record an interview on the phone, meet with his wife, meet with his attorney anywhere in the area at any time during the day or night. They just plain don't want to talk about it and that is certainly their right.

I have not had a chance to catch up on this thread as I actually work on other stories besides Brushy Creek. I'm currently juggling about 14 stories. But I will be sure to post updates on air dates for upcoming Brushy Creek reports.

One more thing: I usually don't report on stories airing on our competition but this one sounds pretty interesting. I understand "Inside Edition," which is shown in just about every city in the country, will air their own Brushy Creek report Tuesday. It sounds like they really poured some major resources into this one and I encourage everyone to be on the look-out tomorrow for this story. I would have preferred that we were the only ones working on this story but I cannot expect a business with so many dissatisfied customers to stay below the radar for long. And like I remarked, this should be a very interesting story on a national platform. Check it out.

if you answered the way you did why in the world are you defending Brush Creek Kennels. It just makes you look bad. I think you are a good person but you remind me of my brother. If someone says the sky is blue, he would have to disagree with it.

I am being an investigative reporter and I want to know all the facts. I find a lot of hearsay here but no evidence yet. I work in a field where the facts are everything. I mean really does anyone here really know he does not vaccinate and give wormer etc etc???
I mean dogs/especially puppies do get sick. I mean I know this I have lots of animals and lots of vet bills.
I give my annual vaccines myself does that mean I don't do them? Some places say that.

But I would have to say the sky is blue most of the time except when its cloudy or overcast or night! nevermind

my 2 cents - there are some people that love to debate...the more you answer... the better they love it

and Dobie - nice sidestep but the subject isn't about members here and their websites - it's about a big Kennel that needs to take a good look at their business practices.

I dont remember anyone saying he doesnt vaccinate or deworm, maybe they did but this thread is longer than my memory these days. We are saying he knows he is selling sick dogs and more evidence will be brought to the surface. Why dont you use your expert detective skills and go undercover for us and buy some of his dogs and let us know what you find out. But then again I dont imagine he has any sick dogs hanging around with all of the reporters out to get a look at the place. Maybe that is where he is, taking a bunch of sick dogs back to Ireland real quick.
