I know what your saying. I just wanted to know. Ok just answer my first two. Do it in PM if you want but you said I looked bad by defending them when I only asked questions. I think it looks bad to have a YT sticky saying there is no such thing as a tea cup and then you go and click a link and boom there is someone stating it. Really I am not trying to be mean I just want to know. It looks bad too.

I dont have a thing against teacups as I stated. I know it is a touchy subject here not teacups in general but people who intentionally breed tiny dogs to get teacups. Alot of people use the term to discribe the smaller size. To me that is all it means. I use the word the say I dont breed for teacups but there may be times when I would get one. I dont have a dog that is under 4 1/2 lbs and the smallest pup I have had will probably be 4 lbs as an adult. I have also had bigger pups like it says so I am trying to say my pups would range from smaller to larger and would fit any families lifestyle. "Teacup" is just a term that is understood as a smaller puppy. I have only had 2 litters since I am just starting out I price them according to looks, male or female, pedigree etc. I havent had a "teacup" so no I didnt sell them for more.

I have 3 breeding females and have only had two litters. I will only have 2 litters a year. I still have 2 pups available from the second litter.

If it were me IMO I would lose the teacup thing. The reason I say this is because like I said it looks bad especially if you hit the link at the bottom.

I am not the one who posted the sticky and everyone has their own opinions about teacups. I dont breed for them but I love them and think they are adorable and most people who inquire do want them.

I know its just a sticky. No big deal. If you remember in the late 70's and early 80' that was the big thing.
I hope you would sell them with a no breeding contract and get additional money for them!

Thanks for your input. I will probably do that. I like it when people give me thoughts like that so I know how I am being percieved. I want to do whats right and your opinion is important. To be honest I have thought the same thing myself. I am sincere in saying that, not being catty.
Give me 5 minutes and it will be gone. Any other suggestions?

hmmmmmm....yes - people expect to make money. There's a big difference in making money selling HEALTHY Puppies.... and a kennel with the attitude 'who cares about the sick ones'? as long as they get paid. You see my point ?

I'm pretty certain most all breeders here would be mortified if they sold someone a dog that was NOT healthy. I don't expect Brushy creek to be shut down - but I DO expect someone in charge of so many lives would give a damn and make sure they are healthy.

Cause she is $100,000 richer due to her dealing with Brushy Creek ? It told me SOMETHING was very wrong with Brushy Creek - she said it herself - he sold SICK DOGS. The courts obviously agreed

OK...I have stayed out of this...but one thing I want to add....

I want to know how many reputable breeders out there are actually making any money. ....

The ones I know......Most of them are in the hole.

Why are they in the hole...because they take every measure possible producing healthy puppies. They do every test imaginable......

They do everything in their power to make sure every puppy is healthy.

If they have a breeding where there is a sick puppy...they try to find out why it is sick. Many times they not breed the parents again.

Reputable and respected breeders are in it to better the breed.

From what I have gathered here....this man who own this business could care less about any of that. He is in it to make money. IMO---he could care less about the welfare of his breeding stock....as long as they keep producing.....sick or not......anything for a quick buck.....
