The ones I know......Most of them are in the hole.

Why are they in the hole...because they take every measure possible producing healthy puppies. They do every test imaginable......

They do everything in their power to make sure every puppy is healthy.

If they have a breeding where there is a sick puppy...they try to find out why it is sick. Many times they not breed the parents again.

Reputable and respected breeders are in it to better the breed.

From what I have gathered here....this man who own this business could care less about any of that. He is in it to make money. IMO---he could care less about the welfare of his breeding stock....as long as they keep producing.....sick or not......anything for a quick buck.....:mad:

I would like to know how many breeding dogs he has and how many are actually imported each year.

That's how it came across to me also. I don't see how it makes her any better but I was not at the court and I do not know what it was all about. That's where I would have liked some more attention paid. Instead of a quick chat with her attorney (BTW attorney's :thumbdown )

I reread your question and misread it. I dont sell to breeders because I would live in fear they would end up in a place like Brushy Creek. Many breeders dont sell breeding rights for various reasons. I dont want to get so far off post that this thread will be closed. I didnt mean to imply you were David.

The point isn't who's better - it's about SICK Dogs.

Dobie you need your own thread I think where you can debate your butt off -some of what you've posted is relevant ... but lots more is just annoying - do you really care about what's going on or is this a big joke to you ?

Now I'm the one who is just curious. What is your point really ?? back when you joined I DID see your point and understood why you posted - but now I'm lost - you seem to be commenting for the sake of commenting

At least she is concerned about her reputation and wants to sell healthy pups and that makes her better. She obvioulsy has a conscious or got herself in a legal mess with selling his sick dogs and had to get compensated for her legal bills too.

hehehe yeah I bet he is Or maybe (this is a horrible thought...I know) he is taking them to his hunting cabin and setting the sick ones out for bait... who knows. But I do know this.. he doesn't give a crap about animals no matter how you look at it.

Somehow I seriously doubt that record keeping was something he was good at. Look at how many 100's of sick dogs passed through his hands, but he was an excellent record keeper? Dobiedude - before this goes even more off base - the bottom line is - The NEWS investigated. The NEWS found enough to run a story. The NEWS obviously has enough factual claims to run a SERIES of stories on this kennel. They tried to get Brushy Creek to comment and he didn't....so based on these facts - what is the HUGE discussion here ?? Why keep this going ?

The other bottom line is this will only HELP DOGS and as a human being who claims to care about animals - that should be a PLUS in your eyes. David Moore isn't going to go out of business over a newshow but maybe he WILL clean up his act.

I know this thread is getting way off topic, but you know what's awesome? If you type "brushy creek kennels" into Google, the first three results are for their sites (all different site addresses and dog breeds, of course :rolleyes: ), but the 4th result is the ripoff report and the 5th result is an archived YT thread about them. :D Keep it up and this thread will be up there too!
