Please let us know how old that adorable pup is, and I like your chances of being accepted into our prestigious club! Love the pictures! |
1 Attachment(s) Princeton is 10 years old and 8.5 lbs. His favorite thing to eat are Dentastix, despite me trying to wean him off them in exchange for a healthier treat. He is an extremely smart and persistent pup. He has learned that his human will get up if he scratches at the front door and pretends he needs to go potty...and then when you walk towards the door, he will quickly run over to his treat shelf instead. Heaven forbid I run out of them...he won't let me sleep unless he gets his treat before bed. Princeton definitely rules the roost at my house. We call him my cranky old man because he likes to boss everyone around. He really doesn't enjoy playing and likes a calm household. He's a bit of a control freak. He looks forward to daily walks, although sometimes he prefers to be pushed around in his stroller instead. Besides his daily walk and dentastix, going to bed is his other favorite time of day. The only time he ever runs is when it's too the bedroom to go to bed. He definitely knows what "lets go to bed" means...and if he is ready before I am, he will definitely let me know by pawing at my leg and running back and forth to the bedroom. You will always find Princeton laying on the most fluffy spot, whether it be on a blanket or pillow on the couch or his fuzzy blanket in bed. |
Good enough... Princeton has my Vote ! ;) |
I'm going to be filing an application soon. Just got my almost 8 month old pup Cookie into the vet and she measured at 6.5 lbs. A healthy 6.5 though, not a fat one. She'll likely end up about 8 or 9 lbs full-grown. |

1 Attachment(s) This is my 11-12lb Zoey. Gotta love the 'teapots' =) Crazy to think she only weighed 2lbs when I got her, got a bad bacterial infection and went down to 1.5lbs and now 5.5yrs later she's this big loveable teapot:cool: |
1 Attachment(s) :thumbup:My 12.5wk old, 4lb puppy. I have a feeling he's going to be a teapot. |

Normally, we'd ding you for an incomplete application -- name, age, weight and AGE are required -- but since we were so remiss in getting back to you, we'll let you slide with a warning. But Zoey so perfectly fits the ranks of the club, it doesn't matter if she's 5 1/2, 6 or 1, she's IN! Welcome to the club, Zoey! |
Keegan, Applicant for Membership 3 Attachment(s) My name is Keegan. As an eleven pound, fourteen-month-old young gentleman yorkie with admittedly non-standard coloring but possessing--according to my parents--an amazingly sweet and noble character, I would like to respectfully submit my application for membership to the super-secret society known (or surreptitiously unknown) as the Teapot Club. I would strive to uphold the fine reputation of this honorable group and would expect to be scolded or told "bad dog" if ever I were to sully the good Teapot name. :icon1::dogprints:Puppy2: Attachment 394717 Attachment 394719 |
I didn't know there was a club! Can Gizmo be in? He is 11 pounds. I always think he is so small (compared to his 30 pound mutt sister) then my friend brings over her 4 pound Yorkie and then I realize he is giant in comparison. |
Quote:
But after careful scrutiny of the required photographs, the elders came to the unanimous conclusion that YES! Keegan's perfect application -- name, age, weight and pictures -- perfectly documented a specimen that many of the elders consider the future of the Teapot Club and Secret Society. Welcome to the club, Keegan! As long as you remain sweet and noble, we expect no disciplinary action in the years to come. |
Quote:
Unfortunately, we have to decline Gizmo's request for membership at this time due to an incomplete application. Name, age, weight and attached picture are required. You may reapply exactly one year from this date -- or during a special application period that take place during any month with an R in it. |
Welcome Keegan ! |

:woof:THANK YOU! I can't wait to run and :animal37 ...:eyebrow2: definitely not tell anyone about my being accepted into the Teapot Club and Super-Secret Society! I could just burs--I mean, "SIT." I could just SIT and STAY. :Puppy2: |
how does this work? Baxter is 3 and is 9 pounds which seems tiny to us since our first Yorkie was a 15 pound boy, Beavis. I guess he qualifies as a Teapot, though This picture is at 6 months I do have new ones... |
aprilivy, check this link out... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...de-thread.html |
Hi Everyone, My name is Dolly Doodle & I just never grew up like you guys did! I won't even tell you how much I weigh because you might laugh. Anyway, I now have a boyfriend in your club named Charlie Brown & I love him very much. He loves me too & accepts me for who I am. So anyway, if there's ever a "Friends of Teapots" group started I want to be your first member. And I think my sister Teena would like to join, too. Love, Dolly P.S. Charlie Brown & I are very serious. |
1 Attachment(s) Can Caleb join? Caleb is 7lbs 3oz and growing at 10 months old. We didn't think he'd ever be big enough for this club, but we are not disappointed. He's perfect. We may be back with Pippi in the future, because she's twice the size he was at 10 weeks. We'll wait and see. :) |

Welcome Caleb |
1 Attachment(s) Caleb says Thank You, he's so pleased to join this special group.;) Big boned but sleek is how he see himself. A refined gentleman, with an impish spirit. 7lbs 8oz as of today. He's sure his new sister (who he adores and is so gentle with) will eventually join too as she is a bruiser...chunky darling. |
Welcome, WELCOME, Caleb! You made the cutoff by ounces, but they were all ADORABLE ounches! Congratulations on your entry into our secret club and society. Just be sure not to show your new sister the secret handshake before she qualifies! |
Last vet visit Miles was almost 11 lbs. He is now 2 years and almost 5 mos. ;) |
Oh Please Please let my girlfriend Dollydoodle in the teapot club!! She is soooo beautiful!! |
Baxter-Boy is my rescue dog... Ours since November 2010 and at that time he was a 5 pounder and 6 months old. He kept growing, but is still smaller than our first Yorkie, Beavis who weighed in at 15 pounds. Baxter loves his daddy who has had some health issues and so is home all the time - except when in the hospital where he is, once again. There's a video "Daddy's Home" posted on yorkietalk from a previous hospital stay and return home. Baxter currently weighs in at 8.8 pounds He is ALL boy He is 3 years old Baxter loves his toys - but when they stop squeaking... he brings them to mommy for fixing. Squeaky toys in the clearance bin are our friends - they have "donor parts" to fix those favorites! Baxter sits patiently by while they are in surgery and then when he sees mommy clip the thread - ATTACK! Sometimes after going to bed he suddenly decides he needs... one more toy... out of the toy box in the living room. Mommy and daddy wake up to find they have shared the bed with Baxter-Boy and 8 toys! Baxter's mommy isn't smart enough to get his picture into this post, but look to the left and you'll see his puppy picture and there are lots of pictures on his profile. He's our little teapot - is he yours, too? |

Name ... Baxter, check Age ... 3 years, check Weight ... 8.8 pounds, check Attached picture ... Excuses, excuses! :p However, the Venerable Elders of the Teapot Club and Secret Society couldn't help but fall in love with Baxter and his awesome rescue story and his current home-therapy work. They asked me to go to your page and provide the picture for you. I whined and sniveled and threatened to quit, but you don't mess with the Elders. Here it is! Congratulations, Baxter, you are an official member of the Teapot Club and Secret Society! We couldn't be more pleased to have such a fine upstanding and better-than-average Yorkie join us. |
Baxter says YIPPEE - are we having a party?? |
