2 Attachment(s) Hi Teapot Club Elders, My name is Waffles and I weigh in at 12.8 lbs at 19 months. I'm a lean, crazy, running, chasing (if Mom would just let me chase those deer) machine. Please consider me for the Teapot Club - my picture is attached. Respectfully Yours, Waffles:aimeeyork |
What a beautiful specimen of yorkus maximus you are, Waffles. I'm confident the elders will accept you. |
Note: This is an automated response. The elders are on vacation whooping it up in Las Vegas and are unable to process any new memberships personally until next month. However, they programmed the auto response system to accept any perfect applications accompanied by ADORABLE pictures, especially one from a Teapot named Waffles they hoped would be applying. Welcome to the club, Waffles! We know you could catch those deer if mama would let you. Automated response complete. You may now return to your regularly scheduled YorkieTalking. |
1 Attachment(s) Dear Elders, Thanks so much for programming an automated response while you're in Las Vegas so I could be accepted into the Teapot Club. I am so HAPPY!!! Waffles :p |
Welcome Waffles ! |

Happy birthday, Cookie! Your probationary period is over! Welcome to full-fledged status! |
Teapot Club 1 Attachment(s) Hi. I'm a first time Yorkie owner to "Ziggy" who is 15 weeks. I took him to the vet yesterday and he already weighs 7.9 pounds. She predicts him to be 10-12ibs full grown. I'm so happy to find a forum for "big and tall". :) |
welcome to YT, my lil boy is 11lbs. my last lil girl (now past) tipped the scales at a beautiful 17lbs, awesome sleek body. The bigger they are the more to cuddle. |

Examining the often-inaccurate Yorkie Growth Charts that exist on the Internet, Ziggy is literally off the charts! Now that's a teapot! Unfortunately, an ancient club such as the Teapot Club and Secret Society has time-honored rules. Normally, the elders don't accept teapots until they reach the age of 1 year. On special occasions with fast-growers, they have accepted as low as 9 months. But Ziggy is a teapot the venerable elders would not like to let go, so they've made a special ruling: As of now, Ziggy is an honorary member. Check in at 6 months with an update and another picture, and we will gladly embrace Ziggy into full membership status. Welcome to honorary status, Ziggy. You're adorable. |
2 Attachment(s) Hello everyone, Max and I would be so honored to become members of the Teapot Club. I am a proud owner of a teapot yorkie (14 lbs). Here are some pics with my Max :) |
Hi all...I haven't been on for a while so I will update. Miss Bella will be 4 in June and is also applying for membership to The Teapot Club. She is now 9 pounds. She doesn't look overweight to me but my vet said I should watch that she doesn't get much bigger. She has quite the appetite. To think back when I first got her I had to play games with her to get her to eat...lol... |
Can I join the teapot club. I've been kind of feeling like a teapot lately. lol:D |
Thank you all for the recent interest in joining the Teapot Club and Secret Society. Unfortunately, we have very strict rules for admission (to keep Teacups out!). Please review our strict requirements before reapplying. 1. Name of dog 2. Age of dog 3. Weight of dog 4. Picture of dog Thank you. |
2 Attachment(s) Sorry, I didn't know that. Here are my yorkie's info: Name: Maxy Age: 2 years and 7 months Weight: 14 lbs |
LOL, we love to tease around here and pretend we're sticklers for the rules! ;p THANK YOU for your prompt reply. Of COURSE Maxy is welcome to join the Teapot Club! To be honest, I don't know how he fits all that adorableness in a 14-pound body! Welcome to the club! |
Thanks! :) My Max is very muscular and a lil fat here and there :)) He just loves foood! I don't know if I did wrong by giving him vitamins for growth (when he was 5 months) and he doubled his weight in one month and kept growing and growing... he is pretty short but has heavy bones :D |
He looks terrific! There's much to like about a sturdier Yorkie, and Max certainly fits the bill. You ought to market those vitamins! |
I am so sorry, I can't remember the nane of those vitamins... :( |
My Teapot Waffles says Welcome to the Club!!! |
Is there a different website for Teapot Club? How does this work? |
Lol, nah, this page is all it is. :) Just a fun way to acknowledge Teapots. But feel free to share pictures and stories anytime. |
