Overpaid for yorkie

I work full time so I can't be home and up all hours of the night waiting for the pups..besides, I am too worried I'd do somthing wrong when assisting with the delivery of the pups.
I am very proud of my puppies they range anywhere from $1200-$3000..depending on the quality...you can see my latest litter of 5 girls at www.stellaryorkies.com

The best thing to do is visit as many breeders as you can and talk to them. Sounds like the breeder you bought your baby from is very caring and kind. Those are hard to find. I commend your breeder.

I always like to offer to anyone looking for a Yorkie to email me or call me with any questions. Even if I don't have something that suits you. I'd be happy to offer suggestions or referring friends of mine that I trust.

Oh, by no means in my opinion did you overpay! It sounds like your breeder took very good care of her "family" which means better socialized, healthy puppies. At 8 weeks they are a little young to be leaving but with a lot of love and attention from you I'm sure that she is thriving. You can't put a price on love and don't even give it a second thought, your money will never be spent better!...Theresa & The Boys

My husband said we should of called Mya "Bathroom Renovation" because that is what the money we spent on her was for. We don't care about our avocado green toilet and fixtures anymore ! hahahaha

The only thing I did not like about my breeder is that she sends pups home, if they are eating well and not too small, at 8 weeks. My puppy seems to young to be away from siblings and mom. She tries to suck on our ear lobes, and she is 10 weeks, almost 11!!

I didn't realize she sent her home so early. It's not something I would do EVER! So I do frown on that. But your little one looks absolutely adorable.

I paid over $2,000 for Cookie . Actually $2,500 and I financed him! He was paid in full in a few months. I felt some guilt when I first got him. He's now over a year old. If I had $5,000 I would have paid that much for him! He turned out the be the best little furry friend I've ever had. He sleeps with me and is my constant shadow. He has the little face,short muzzle too.
I still keep Mimi in her play pen a few hours a day not much. Just when I cant be around them. Because she is so little and she jumps on the sofa, jumps off the highest part of the sofa too! She is too small! She whines sometimes but that is rare. I dont know if she will ever sleep with us since she is so hyper ! lol Mydaughters take turns sleeping with her. But she sleeps in her kennel with her fleece blanky,toy and pee pad .She sleeps quietly all night until 7-8 am she starts waking up and whining to get out
Your little girl is simply adorable and precious. Don't dwell on on the $ . I did that and after we bonded the money was forgotten.If she's 10 weeks old then it's totally normal for her to yap just a little.
When I give mine a bath they are all ears too lol

She's just darling. That little baby doll face - that's my kind of Yorkie. I'd have paid that for her! Just precious. My Sabrina still doesn't like a bath particularly. I guess it's because you have to do their eyes and whiskers and she just acts like I've tried to drown her. I remember when Sabrina first barked - she scared herself! She barked and the lay down and was looking all around - like "what was that?" Ha. Then she tried it again. So now, she tells me when the mailman comes, the neighbors drive in, a car comes by, my dad's in the yard, and she and the UPS guy are best friends. He stops and pets her even when he's not delivering to my house cause she knows the beep of his truck. I fell like I am the neighborhood watch. Nothing gets past her.

You are so lucky - she is so cute. Now, I need another one.

When it comes to prices ...a PET is worth whatever a person is willing to pay. It is easier to put a price on a show or breed prospect..pets are priceless.
