| I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I got so teary eyed just looking at the picture of baby Ella's little footprints....that is so sweet Ella's doctor sounds absolutely wonderful. What a sweet, caring lady she must be. That was sooo thoughtful and sweet of her to send you little Ella's footprints I'm sure she will be THRILLED when she hears about Ella's little sister - it is truly just a MIRACLE!

| Everytime I hear a story like this it gives me hope that there are still so many good and caring people in this world.......when I lost my two dogs last year (two weeks apart) one night I was sitting here and someone rang my doorbell and when I went to the door there was someone standing there with a beautiful azelia(sp?) plant........with a note attached sorry for the loss of Tito & Tiny.......I thought it was from my son's friend (who gave me Brandi)......cause he's just that type of "kid" (he'll always be a kid in my eyes)........So one day I went to see my friend at the vet and I happened to mention it and she said they did send it.......and it just made me feel that he really cared about my dogs.......not just what he was getting paid for their care.....OMG when I came in with Brandi you should have seen the commotion........everyone came out to see her......and Frankie the guy that works with the vet......just came and took Brandi right out of my daughter's hands and was holding her and kissing her.....it really made me feel good......I'm so glad you have something tangible as a keepsake from your baby Ella...... |

I think I need to tell a few vets what has been posted here. They could learn as well. How thoughtful of both vets. I was really moved by both posts about the plant and foot prints. | |

| I am so glad to hear of yet another wonderful vet, Mommy of Brandi When Starr died, her vet sent me something too. THE BILL They did wait a couple of weeks, though The emergency vet that we rushed her to sent a sympathy card, and they'd never seen her before that night. That touched me so much, and made me so angry and hurt at her regular vet. I think ANY medical professional, whether it be for animals or humans, should have compassion. I know that some grow hard in the heart after a while, to protect themselves, but that may be when it's time to get out, when you can't FEEL for the patients and their families anymore. Just my 2 cents
