| stairs???? so, I have always seen those "steps" to help doggies get up on the bed, couch, etc. Well, I have always thought they were just the funniest thing. My dogs can jump on the couch no problem...why would we give them stairs?? but now, I understand that it is a huge help for older dogs who shouldn't be jumping like that...and now that I have maggie...she can't get up on ANYTHING. not the bed, the couch, the chair...not a thing. I don't know if she will be able to when she gets bigger...she is only 3.5 months old now. I was just wondering if any of you have these little step things. I can't believe I am saying this, but I have been thinking of getting a couple sets for Maggie. I just wonder if she will be able to jump this high when she is older. I just feel bad because the other 2 dogs are always on the couch with us...and sleep in the bed with us. Do you think I should get some or do you think she will be able to do it on her own when she grows a bit??

| My friend, Suz has them and I think they are great. Whether they can or can't jump, sometimes they shouldn't. We have heard so many times how they have landed wrong and broken their legs so I say go for it, get the steps, if you can teach them all to use them that's better for their little bodies. I have a set of steps at the end of my bed and both of my dogs use them. |

| I guess it depends on her size. When i got Chewy, she was 4lbs and couldnt get up onto anything herself either. She just stood by my bed and whined until i picked her up, and the same thing when she wanted to get down. Now she is about 6.5 lbs and has no probems jumping onto anything. I would say if shes not fully grown, give her some more time. |

| Yep I have them for my bed. Diesel uses them to get up on my bed but not to get down. Our bed is really high so I wish he would use them to jump down but he won't. I think they are great to have! We bought my daughter some for christmas for her pup. LOL

| I also have the pet stairs and the pups do use them. It is a relief for me when I know they aren't jumping off the bed.

| I got some for Maddie to get up and down the bed on. It is very high! I mainly got them so that she wouldn't wear on her joints by jumping off the bed. Well, she won't use them to go down...only to go onto the bed. They are great, but I wish she'd go down them instead of just up!
