I just don't see why other people seem to care soo much. I mean, if I dress Rocky, or if anyone else on here wants to dress up their furbaby, is that effecting others? No, so why do people act like it's one of the worst things ever?

But, cruel and unusual? Only if the dog thinks so. If he hates it, then I'd tend to think so. But, I think most dogs get used to it and if they don't mind, then what's for me to mind?

| Well being that in Miami the coldest it ever gets is in the 50's I don't have to dress my girls to maintain them warm but..... I chose to spend Alot of $$ on cute dresses, shirts, bows and a whole bunch of stuff to make them look extra cute when we take them places (which we do all the time) Is this cruel and unusual punishment? I don't think so! They do have to wear the cute outfits (may look silly to some) once in a while which they may or may not lile but in exchange they live a very good life, I take care of their health, feed them the best food I can find, make sure they have plenty of toys and fun, and love them like my own babies... I once got a sarcastic comment from a rude woman and I just smirked and told her "You know these girls surely live a lot better life than you, don't hate us because you can't have such cute dogs"

| Does my husband count? Yea, he thinks I am a little nuts. Percy really doesn't have any clothes, just a couple shirts that I throw on him if it is chilly out in the morning when we walk. But, I was looking at raincoats and jackets/hoodies for him. And my husband thought I had finally cracked. I explained that this is a Florida born yorkie and if we can't handle the weather when it dips below 60 degrees, how will a little 5lb yorkie? He kinda agreed, but not really. My 10yo on the other hand is ready to take a sewing class so she can start making clothes, and is begging for a girl yorkie so she can dress her up like all the other cute yorkies here. I am always showing her everyones pics. She is especially in love with little Tatum and Jewelina. My 3yo is sooooooo funny though...he sees the pictures and says....Mommy! Percy Puppy is in a dress! Why you put Percy Puppy in a dress? I guess he thinks we own the only yorkie in the world (Gawd I wish I was that little again)

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I don't think it's cruel at all! Infact many dogs actually like and prefer to wear clothing. Clothing is a must in the winter for yorkies, as they have hair and get very cold. My two don't mind at all...I don't think they even notice or care. |

| My little one Ben, thinks it is cruel and unusual punishment if I try to put any clothing on him that comes down on his legs. He tolerates the harness vests just fine, but anything with a leg (even PJ's) and he pretends he cannot walk. I have checked and rechecked to make sure they are not binding, but it is just the idea of something on his legs and he can't move. Strange little guy but I won't make him wear anything he doesn't seem comfortable with -- so it is harness vests or nothing. Other people have only had positive things to say when mine were wearing the harness vests -- especially their matching argyle ones. Sadies has a ruffle and it helps for everyone to pick out the right one for girl and boy. Their hoodies got a positive response too. My son does roll his eyes at me when packages arrive and they are once again for the pups and not him.

| I do not really dress my dogs except for bows and the harness vests when we walk them and I do have a little coat for the winter time that velcros on like he vests. We take them to the beach a few times a week for walks and most people think the vests are adorable! Their coat gets tangled enough just with a collar. I fear that if I dress them up too often it will be mat central. LOL But for the record I think that doggies look adorable all dressed up and do not think it is mean or weird at all! If I was not so worried about the mats I would do it also. |

| I hear that all the time - but I don't care. My girls look so cute and they love having me coo and awww over them so we're happy. My husband loves the girls too - he is a proud papa. Even pushes our pink stroller with dolled up girls inside. He puffs up when people come and look at the girls - like he has something to do with it. Of course he refuses to allow me to get pictures.
