| Daycare Schedule~Need Help I start teaching next week and I will be teaching on Tuesdays from 12-2 and Wednesdays 8am-4pm. I always struggle with what days to take the monkeys to daycare. Usually I come home at lunch-time because I always feel guilty for leaving them in my bedroom for too long buuuuttttttttt the past few weeks I have been letting them have run of the apartment while I'm at work and that has been just fine. Mondays they are always tired from the weekend so that is never a good daycare day. The problem is that I don't want to take them 2 days in a row because Hallie would be really cranky I'm sure. Am I being too paranoid and weird? Anyhoo I'm thinking Wednesdays and Fridays and just not coming home on Tuesdays. Do you think they would be ok from 8-5? Ugh I hate this~ Thanks Friends~~~~ |

| i think that sounds fine! they are lucky to be able to go to day care and have interactions with people. in my opinion they may be more upset at home with no one to "entertain" them.. at least at day care i'm sure their days go by fast. although.. not being a dog myself.. i dont' know! layla goes to day care two days a week and when i pick her up... she is pooped! (sorry two days in a row a week) and i'd rather have her with someone who can watch her.. than at home worrying that she may have gotten into something... do you find you worry about them more when they are home or at daycare?? i think the answer to that question will help ... good luck with your decision.. Simon and Hallie are very lucky to have a mother who worries like you |

| Yes, I think they'd be ok 8-5. I know a lot of people don't like to do that, but Sadie stays home for that long every day. If I could come home at lunch, I would, but it's just not possible for me to do (time restraints). I leave her a pad in the bathroom. Most days she holds it, but sometimes she will go on her pad. Honestly, she just sleeps the whole day away. I leave a radio on for her and some toys around. Most days, the toys are in the same place when I get home as when I left which tells me that she just sleeps.
