| I haven't really been on the computer the last few days. For one I am sooooo sick. More importantly I think there is something wrong with Candi. Most of you know about her sliding in the tub and passing out. Well she had a clean bill of health and seem to be doing great for a day and a half. Then she started following me and just wanting to be held. She acts like she is scared to get down or something (she will actually shake) I have taken her to 3 vets and they all say she is fine that there is nothing wrong with her. The last vet told me he thinks she is just spoiled. I think something is wrong. I have had a few xrays and blood work done. I don't know what else to do. I have been carrying this baby in a baby sling or pushing her stroller around for days now. She is eating fine and drinking just doesn't want to get down. What should I do?

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I'm sorry Candi is having problems. Maybe she's just not feeling well? I think if there were something wrong it would've come up in the xrays and such. Have you tried giving her neutrical?and I hope you feel better soon too!!

Thank you and yes I have tried neutrical. Can a dog really get spoiled to the point they don't want to get down and play?

| i dont' think it is spoiled at all.. i think she is upset that she was hurt.. going to the vet... ALL very traumatizing for our poor babies! especially since she is shaking.. spoiled dogs just want to be held... the shaking says she is upset. does your baby usually enjoy playing and going outside??? if so i think she will eventually tell you that she is ready to be independant again by wanting to play with you or wanting down when you go outside. I'd definitly keep doing what you are doing... for a while anyways... poor thing.... that is a lot to go through. hope she is feeling better. |

| I hope sweet candi is okay, maybe she is just a little shook up from the tub incident and hopefully she will feel better and gain her confidence back. I hope that is all that it is, I hope there is no underlying problems. And I dont think she is spoiled, just well loved! These sweet yorkie needs lots of loving! We love you candi

| I think what you are doing is great! Firstly, I am not a vet, so I am sharing what I would do. I know that when Bailey or Tia have had an accident, they tend to get a bit clingy and of course we want to give them extra attention. If she is eating, sleeping and going to the bathroom fine, and doesn't appear to be in pain, I would just give it a couple of more days. I know this is easier said than done, but if you can, try to relax. She may be sensing that your worried/upset and reacting to this. What a dumb vet for saying she is spoiled thought . If at any time tings change, she get lethargic, stops eating, or seems to be in pain, I would immediately go back to the vet! Best of luck and I hope that she is as right as rain tomorrow! to both of you!

| I was thinking the same thing, maybe she is sore from her fall in the tub. Or perhaps scared? I hope she is feeling back to normal very soon! That goes for you too! |

| OK Tricia...I know there is a difference between humans and dogs, but the way I see it, a skull is a skull and a brain is a brain. My hubby fell off of a roof last year and hit his head on the deck when he fell. He was almost knocked unconcious but they did not examine his head because he did not remember hitting it that hard. Well he fractured his wrist and was put in a cast. He cut that off the next day in an anxiety attack that he had NEVER had before...and he continued to have those for a few months after the fall. His Dr. and I discussed it later and concluded that he hit his head harder than he thought and probably had a small brain bleed/concussion that caused the anxiety attacks. That may be what is wrong with Candi...if it continues, I would ask her vet or even seek a vet who specializes in neurology. If she is eating and drinking and all that o.k. I am sure she is alright...but if she is suffering some hidden problem, they might be able to help her thru it. I hope both of you are feeling much better really soon. Sorry this was so long but had to explain...to explain!

| I did not get to read your thread on her slipping on the tub but it must have been pretty traumatic for Candi, it seems. That might be the reason why she is so scared. Hopefully in time she will realize it was an accident. I hope you find a solution or if anything is really wrong with her, it will surface soon. Sending lots of hugs and kisses to you both. |

| I read in the book Cesars Way, The Dog Whisperer that a dog fell on the kitchen foor and never went into the kitchen again until Cesar made him and then after a while of being in the kitchen he knew it wouldn't hurt him and was fine. Maybe it is just psychological. |
