I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I don't know how old Gracie is, but at 12 weeks through 20 weeks Joey's hair went through a very oily period. I started giving him two baths a week because I just couldn't stand it. Now at 22 weeks, his oil glands have calmed down a bit and a once a week bath is enough. Nancy |

| I have 1yr old male who also gets very oily especially on head and face. I have to bathe him weekly and wash his face and head every night. Have also wondered why but have never asked.

| Could Gracie have gotten into any lotion or conditioner in the bathroom? How about Vaseline? Sherman recently had his ears cleaned by the vet when his baby teeth were removed and I had to put Otomax ointment in his ears as a precaution. It made his hair so greasy not just on his head but it seamed his whole little body! My groomer told me to add a drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid to the regular dog shampoo to get rid of the greasiness, but since Gracie has a cotton coat you might not want to do that.
