|  I'm so sorry you lost your furry friend. It sounds like you loved Montana a whole lot. I just lost my 17 yr-old poodle on Christmas Eve, so I understand that your heart is hurting. It sure is wonderful to have them so long. They just become part of your life and family. A big hole is there when they leave. Have lots of good memory thoughts of Montana.

| Itz really sad to say good-bye to a beloved pet ... but 14.5 years is so good and what great memories you must have. I dread the day that this becomes an issue with me and Monday .... guess, like with all our loved ones, enjoy each day. My condolences ....

| Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers, special thanks to RRC for the Montana Sky quote, it was beautiful! It's nice to know that I can find comfort here at YT. I miss Montana very much, but I know that she is in a better place right now and I also know that I will see her again someday. The rest of my dogs keep me going! They have all been particularly lovey since Montana left us, even my very independent Jack Russell! Thanks again so much for the comfort you have given me. |

| So sorry for your loss. We are also having a crappy new years, we had to put our 16 year old cat to sleep on new year's day. I pray that time will heal the hole in your heart and the year can only get better. |
