He does look sad in the third pic. I have a little drama king that always pouts after he gets a trim, but he has gotten better.

You reminded me of my grandmother and her toy poodles from the past. She took them to a groomer religiously and sometimes she would say things like "what was she thinking using THOSE bows?" Sometimes she'd get lucky and they'd get a small, cute one on each ear, but sometimes...not so pretty!

You have a cute boy, and his trim looks nice!

KODAK - you may want to mention to your groomer the bow was way too tight though - lots of people wouldn't even know to take it off and it sounds like it was pulling his head and probably hurt - if you just mention that maybe she'll lay off the 'bows' since she obviously has no fashion sense lol -

Hey that rhymes, the bow has gotta go! Thanks to everyone for the compliments. He feels a lot better know that his brain was released back to him. I am going to make the groomer aware and let her know there are cute bow makers on Yorkie talk. I will buy some and just take them to her next time.

Thats what I do. I take My own bow for her to put in. I dont like the elastic band on the bows My groomer uses. I always have to cut them out because they are so tight in the hair

I agree...you asked for a topknot and she did what you asked just not with the bow you would have liked. What's important is that she did a good job on the haircut and you're happy with that. Bows can be taken out immediately and tossed...bad haircuts can't! He is adorable.
