I think I can understand your dissapointment with the breeder but that shouldn't be confused with your bonding with Zoe. Her picture is adorable. In the event you decided to keep her, just make sure you don't end up buying another tiny dog later on and Zoe getting pushed aside because she is bigger but since you have a pit, hopefully that wouldn't be the case. I know I am way out of the topic but like Dina Nichole, I have seen it before. It is heartbreaking. Good luck in whatever decision you make. I have bonded with my baby the moment he is in my arms the first time. He doesn't even look as cute as Zoe then. He was real scruffy and smells like he has never had a bath but I will not let go of him.

I just saw the pictures...she is cute!!!!!!

iheartzoe: I just wanted to say that first of all, your little girl is just darling!
Secondly, I respect the fact that you did stay on this thread and listened to everyones comments. Some people said some things that in my opinion, were uncalled for...sometimes people on here take serious matters and turn them into jokes and I think you were honestly conflicted about your feelings and wanted advice from other people here on YT. You have to keep in mind though, even though some peoples post may come off mean or insulting, deep down, the majority of us on here were just trying to help and are concerned for the well being of little Zoe and in the end whatever we say it is just our opinions and you can take them or leave them its up to you.

I honestly think you would make a great mommy to Zoe and really think she deserves a chance. Even if she does get a little bigger than you hoped, who cares? She's YOURS now! She already looks so happy in your home and like many people have said about the growth charts, they aren't always accurate so she might end up being the 4-5 pound dog that you had in mind...and if she doesn't she'll be the 6-7 (however much she weighs) pound dog that you love and you'll think back "My gosh, how could I have EVER thought of bringing you back now, I can't imagine my life without you..."

On another note, I would contact the breeder and ask for a partial refund since she did charge you EXTRA for her being small...which in my opinion is just wrong, if people want to charge on different sexes fine but if a yorkie is within the standard I think charging extra for a small one is a bit ridiculous IMO.

that mommy will still love her furry butt

By the way Coco was supposed to be 3 lbs, I didn't pay for her size but judging from the chart, and now she's almost 5. She is TINY. She still fits comfortable on one arm and fits comfortable in any carrier and wears xs. I couldn't imagine her being tinier than that, because I would be scared. But my point is maybe Zoe's growth may slow down since she had her big growth spurt. Coco's happened at 7 months, up until then she was barely 2 lbs, then popped up almost 1.5 lbs in a month. It was weird but after that she stopped growing pretty much.

Oh my...she's huge...I couldn't live with a dog that big in my home...uh-uh...no way! Just think of the messes a dog that large would make!
