i saw everyones post about Chicken Soup dog food. Does this come in more than one flavor ? If so what is the recomended flavor ? Does it come in small bite size or large kibble?

Back when Ruby was eating Chicken Soup - we could find it at LoveaPet and Orscheliens (sp).

Yeah - I imagine they do mark up the prices

We just went back and bought a big bag the other day (we've been buying the little bags because up until the other day, they were OUT of the bigger bags...) we got an 18 lb bag (good GRIEF, it is going to last him FOREVER! LOL) and it was $19.

He really does do great on it though. Steddy doesn't have a sensitive tummy - but even though Mojo DOES, I betcha he would do really well on it. But just to be on the safe side, maybe ask your vet about it first and see what she thinks???

Stedman IS a picky eater though. I really wanted him to like this food, because the ingredients in it are great - so thank God he LOVES it! He will even eat it out of my hand - like a treat...and he NEVER did that with the other food he was previously on.

But anyhow, if you DO end up switching the Mojo over to it, let us know how he does on it!

Well I was in a toss between California Natural and CS but when I went they where out of the California Natural Puppy Bites so I got the CS.........but I think they are BOTH GREAT FOODS!!!!

I made the swithch from i/d to Chicken Soup and crossed my fingers. Gizmo had no problems with it, so we are both happy.

is CS a low residue food? Monday cannot hav a large fat content ... it upsetsr tummy ... I looked at it online but could not see the fat content ...

Canidae. I switched my 3 to it last week and they love it. It took a day of them wondering where the other food was. They all have sensitive tummy's and are doing great.

I guess my picky little princess ins the only one who snubbed her nose at chicken soup.. the bigger dogs ate it but she wouldnt touch it!
I actually purchased mine at an ACE HArdware store.. You can go to the chicken soup website and find a retailer....

just for the record.. Hope has now turned her nose up at 6 different "quality" foods... she is just TOOO picky.. that is why now.... mommy cooks! I know I am crazy.. yes I do

Bag says 17%. Dont know if thats good, bad or ??.

Even though both my yorkies are over 1 now, I use the puppy bites as the kibble is so small and perfect for tiny yorkie mouths.

I will tell you this stuff smell like heck, but is suppossed to be quite healthy.

Same here! I just changed foods...was feeding Nutro Ultra Adult and Puppy...didn't get a very good rating so I changed to Canidae...they love it...they didn't care for Chicken Soup.

Nope, Diesel doesn't like Chicken Soup either. Granted it smells really good but he still didn't like it. I feed him Innova dry food.
