Rocky has had the hiccups a couple of times. It's soo cute! I've never seen a dog hiccup before him.

My yorkie gets hiccups ALL THE TIME!! I was concerned and asked my vet, and she told me that it is VERY COMMON in puppies, not to worry. I think its cute though.. hehe

I agree here... hiccups sound like hiccups...there is no mistaking them, but a choking sound is not the same. Have your dog checked by a vet if it happens a lot!
