LOL. get hot? go to the beach! south padre island is nice for cooling off. that might even be a nice place to have a yorkie meet up.might even get ohio, n.y. or washington ,etc. there..LOL

| Hi, I live in Warren Texas, which is about 45 minutes North of Beaumont. I am smack dab in the middle of all the tall Pine Trees. I travel to Houston on a regular basis, which is about a 2 hour drive, sometimes more depending on the traffic. I love to go there to shop. I always hit Nordstrom in the Gallaria, and make my way down Westheimer to all the great shops in River Oaks. We have a hunting ranch in Charlotte which is South of San Antonio, so I make my way down there too. That is about a 6.5 hour drive. Love it down there as well, no pine trees though, only mesquite tress, cactus, rattlesnakes and lots of things with stickers. We ride the rapids, hit the outlet mall in San Marcus, and eat some of the best Mexican food ever in San Antonio. That's what I love about Texas. You can see and do almost anything imaginable and never even have to leave the state. (unless you want to cross the state line to Louisiana and do a little gambling). So nice to see so many others on this forum for Texas. |
