| Who here has 4 lbs and below yorkies? Hi Everyone! I was just wondering how common 4 lbs yorkies are. I bought my Coco from a breeder on the internet and upon visiting Kana and Momiji here from Yorkie Talk, I saw a huge difference in size of both puppies. They are only two weeks apart. My point is, my Coco is supposed to be 3.5-4 lbs, but she is 4 months now and is 3.5lbs already. I'm a little disappointed with what the breeder told me because Coco is not turning out to be small. I'm thinking maybe she'll slow down in her development, but I doubt it. Of course this doesn't change my feelings for Coco. I think she's who she is and I'm grateful, but I would love to get at least a third of my money back from that wretched breeder!! So does everyone here have small yorkies or bigger yorkies? I'd like to know. Thanks!! |

| Grayson is almost 6 months old and weights almost 3 pounds I think he will be 4 pounds grown and I was told to expect him to be a big boy 7 to 10 pounds so I guess you never know huh?

| I do, but mine are still puppies. Ben ($1200) is 2.8 pounds at 4 months. It looks like Sadie will be bigger than him and I actually paid more for her ($1500). I hope both are in the 4-6 pound range.

| It is very nearly impossible to forecast the adult size of a young pup. My Peppy is 3.25 lbs and Kiko is 4.25 lbs. Both are very healthy and very active and have more courage and "heart" than dogs 20 X their size. |

| I just hope she grows up to be pretty! I don't really mind having a bigger pet anymore because when I went for a walk one time, I saw this beautiful 17lbs yorkie! Her name was Buttercup and she was adorable!! Even though she was big, she had such a healthy glowing coat! |

| My boys were 2 pounds 3 oz. and 2 pounds 9 oz. at 4 months. They are now 1 1/2 and 2 and they weigh 4pounds 2 oz. and 4 pounds 4 oz. They both seemed to stop growing between 6 and 7 months. I kind of figured Jo would stay small but I wasn't sure about Riley. |

| This makes me want something smaller now. Maybe I'll get a new one for Coco to play with. |

| My yorkie is 3 yrs old and weighs 3.1 lbs.! From what I've read, there are 3 sizes of yorkie's teacup (not really officially recognized) toy and standard. I really don't know if that is true. |

| I was looking for a smaller Yorkie when I found Pepper and was told he'd stay less than 4 lbs. Well, it looked like that but out of sudden, he's already 4.5 lbs at 6.5 months... He'll still grow, the vet estimates him between 5-6 lbs but oh well, he's still so tiny to me anyway

But then two are even more to love. I cannot tell you how happy we are with the decision to get a second puppy. It is a lot with two trying to house break. But to watch them play together, curl up together in their bed, and always having one ready for puppy kisses ... ah, so worth it!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | We were told Eddie was going to be 2-3 pounds. LOL. He's 9.5, and we couldn't be happier.

| Kasey is almost a year old and is 2 lb, 2 oz. I wish he had gotten a little bigger, but we love him anyway....obviously. |
