| My Two Girls Are Having Surgery On Friday When: Friday, December 15th Time: 10 a.m. My little Tee Tee is having her retained baby teeth removed and my Cali girl is being spayed, having her retained baby teeth removed, having 2 dew claws removed and getting a rabies shot. Please keep my two little princesses in your prayers. I'm really worried about both of them but Cali in particular because of her size. She just turned 7 months old on the 9th and she's still so super tiny. I just pray the operation goes smoothly for both my angels. I haven't gotten any sleep all week (just ask my poor husband). I'm a nervous wreck. I'm SO AFRAID I'm going to get a call from the vet, saying that Cali never woke up or went into heart failure. It's not that she isn't healthy -- she's as healthy as a horse -- but she's so darn tiny. I am going to meet with the vet at 10 a.m. and discuss in DETAIL the surgery for both of my girls. If I do not feel comfortable, then I will just cancel the operation and find a new vet or even a specialist. This vet is awesome and comes HIGHLY recommended but if I am not 100% comfortable, I won't go through with it. I just can't take a risk and lose my babies. I'm pretty comfortable with Tia's surgery (only because she was spayed at 6 months and did awesome -- plus, she's a lot bigger than Cali). But if I get a bad vibe, we're out of there! Please keep my precious girls in your prayers. I can't live without them.

| I am sure they will both be fine and back to their normal selves in no time. You on the other hand will be a nervous wreck! Look on the bright side, at least Cali's getting the works all at one time! |

| Awwww my poor furnieces..Don't worry they will do just great. I personally would talk to the vet more about Cali's procedures. I think adding the rabies shot might be a bit too much. She will be so groggy from the surgery anyway and most of the little ones end up having reactions to the rabies shot. Just something to discuss with the vet, because it might be better to get her the rabies shot later. That's what my vet had recommended for Coco and she was about Cali's size when I got her spayed. Have no fear, the girls will do great

| I don't really want her to have the rabies shot that same day either but they explained that according to NY law, a dog must have a rabies shot every year. If you bring your dog to the vet and it doesn't have a rabies shot, they can actually refuse to see your dog unless you allow them to give it a rabies shot. I was planning on discussing this with the vet anyway on Friday (I just didn't post about it). I will even PAY for the damn rabies shot in advance if they will allow me to bring her back in to actually receive it in 1 or 2 weeks (after she is fully recovered). I'll let you guys know how it works out.
