I think it is easier for us to keep our babies spoiled and happy because we don't HAVE 21 dogs!!!!!!!!!!! Even the breeders here don't have that many!! It is alot !!!

I have two female yorkies. One from a home breeding situation and one from a show kennel situation. The two could not be any more different. But it is just that different. I looked at the website you have been talking about and closely at the pictures. I agree that this is a kennel situation but I do not see the same negative things a few of you seem to be seeing. The dogs are not as attractive but looking at the floor the cages seem to be clean. Not every breeder of yorkies is a home situation but that does not necessarily make them a puppy mill. For obvious reasons having many dogs necessatites that they are kept in cages or enclosures rather than in the home or owner's bed, but that in itself does not prove puppymill. Another thing that I learned this summer was that many times kennel owners are also called upon to help with and find homes for rescues, and their pictures are also on their websites. Perhaps it is premature to judge and negatively post without seeing the breeder and her operation first hand.

They sure don't look like breeding stock to me, heck one of the Yorkies for sale (adult female) looks like she has a serious dental/jaw issue She has that same dog listed in her "Breeder" section, so it's not a rescue. It's a poor, used up female that she has no more use for The dogs all look dirty and certainly NONE of the Yorkies are what I'd consider good for the breed. Just plain WRONG

For you who know this breeder, I think a good thing to do is to tell her to prove that she takes care of her pets with better pictures. As for judging a book by its cover, this "business" should improve its cover, if that's the only problem...

These are all really good points to be 100 % honest But her puppies do look very depressed, which is what concerned me the most

I am searching for another yorkie, and looking at this website, I would not purchase anything from her. I can sympathize with you on some points you made, the surrounding area looks clean to. But when you are trying to sell a product, puppy etc. you need a good presentation or representative. When you say the dog's are not as attractive, that is the 1st thing she should've done was groom them or take better photos. When a dog feels good it shows in their faces and coats. If some of them were rescues, don't you think that should be noted? What you present to the public can be a representation of yourself, and that's all we had to go on. She may be a nice person, maybe she needs to know a little more about "Presentation".

Wth does they are both intact mean, is she going to take more pictures of the rescues? Maybe the person who defended her on here called her and told her she was a topic of discussion. I'm not judging her, I think everyone was having fun with it just scratching the surface. But as members dug deeper, it became a concern issue. She must realize this is an open forum and people are intitaled to their opinions here. I've noticed that it gets serious when it comes down to the well being of the pups we are viewing.

Tassibo, Please let us know when the this breeder emails you updated photos. I hope she emails the same dogs she shows on the site and not different ones. They are listed on the Pomeranian page to which was odd to me, but maybe she didn't have room on the yorkie page.

Thanks, I try!!!!!!! I'm certainly not in it for the dollars as this person seems to be. HECK!!!!! i have two females that I can't even breed and can't stand the thoughts of letting them go. I let Silk go for one night and cried and carried on so bad that my husband went and got her back for me. I am too soft to be a breeder I guess.

oh, honey, you didn't make me feel bad at all. I just got to wondering how other people see my babies. I try hard. i was worried about posting the pictures on my website, they always play so much and their hair is never all fixed up with bows and etc. they wouldn't leave them in anyhow. Plus two of them have puppy cuts which Iam trying to grow out. There is no one to take professional pictures near me and they wouldn't sit still anyway. My bunch is a rough and tumble bunch.
