Welcome Angie. This is a very nice forum, with nice people who adore Yorkies. My husband was born in Middlesboro and his family live in Louisville now. The Internet makes the world very small. Pat

Hi Bakerbunch. Welcome to this group. I'm kind of new myself and I don't post too often but I love reading about everyones babies. We have 2 Yorkies, 2 cats, 1 bird and 1 horse, so I kind of know what your day is like! Wouldn't have it any other way. Family members sometimes think I've gone over the edge Have fun here, I do...Theresa

Thank you all for the welcome. This is such a friendly place. It's fun to learn about other people with pet families and connections to Kentucky. I had to laugh at Gypsy Rose telling Shaggy to run like mad from the bath. lol He's getting much better about brushing and sitting still until I'm done. I've been surprised that there hasn't seemed to be an adjustment period for him. My dad stopped by the other day and Shaggy jumped right in lap, of course, but he didn't whine or pout when Dad left without him. I guess he has spent enough time with us over the past year not to feel like he was abandoned by his people. I'm so glad. He is such a rambunctious dog with all of us but very shy with strangers. I can't imagine him having to go to another family. I'm looking forward to learning which "peoples" go with the pets here. Right now I remember the little doggies names but not which person they go with. angie
