| New Member Hello, my name is Sylvia, Lady of Yorkies. I have 6 Yorkies, Pirogue(Peer-ro, silent "gue") who is just over a year and 9 1/2# at his last weigh in. Lady Galahad who just became a new mommy, she had 2 but we lost the little boy and are calling the little girl, Matty, it is German and means "Strong Fighter" because we almost lost her. Then we have Autumn Rose, mommy's girl(mine), she just turned 9 mos and at last weigh in was 5.2. We wanted another male who would be small enough to breed as Pirogue is not, at our last pmt when we went to pick him up we ended up bringing home his half sister. They are "You Can Call Me Mr. Big" and Lacijo. We were going to call Mr. Big "Yucan" but it turns out that "you can" is such a large part of our vocabulary that he can't recognize his name so we are going to go with Mr. Big. Lacijo was already named when we got her, she was 5 1/2 mo. {(Kennel's name) Asia Girl} but we wanted to choose a name for her ourselves. She looked kind of lacy to me so I just said Lacijo. And I think it fits. Mr. Big is 4 mo. and Matty is 6 days old. We have a rescued Pom, Baby, we have no idea how old he is except to say OLD. We have a Schnerrier, Cindy Lou Who, and one of my sons just had to have his Husky before they could move out, Avalanche. Oh, and almost forgot one black cat with a white spot on his tummy, Dracula, because he adopted us at Halloween time. Last edited by Lady of Yorkies; 05-11-2005 at 12:53 AM. |

| Hello, Kim and Fran, I know you from other places, where I'm known as AutumnPirogueLadyGal (ahad). Thank you all for the warm welcome. I could use another 3 bedrooms! We are looking for a bigger place but having to support everyone all of our resources are gone, until SOME people move out. We found a nice place with 11 acres for about $45,000 but it didn't have enough bedrooms in the main home. It had 3 outbuildings that could be used for private bedrooms (not attached to each other or the main building) but the main home (trailer) was only 2 bdrms. With 3 little kids still at home it wouldn't work. Not to mention I promised them their own rooms when we got a bigger place. And no I do not do all the cooking. lol I avoid it when I can. Dil and son don't do much of anything, and I don't make a fuss so there's peace in the house. I love to crochet but anytime I try I get interupted by kids or dil. I haven't crocheted very much since they got here. I have just received 2 afghans from Mary Maxim that I want very much to work on and can't find the energy to start. I love to sew and have some ideas for puppy clothes but I can't leave my machine open or the grandbabies (4 and almost 2) think it belongs to them and I find pieces of fabric, patterns, pins, and needles all over the house. Ok, ok, I'm working on my life's story here. lol I was just wondering where is Villette? Last edited by Lady of Yorkies; 05-11-2005 at 12:51 AM. |
