| Anyone with 4 YORKIE's???? Anyone out there with 4 Yorkie's? If so what are their Sexes? What are their ages? Are they Driving you crazy? I already have 2 full grown, 1 male and 1 female.....they had puppies (yes a planned pregnancy/Breeding). I sold the 1 male puppy to the best home I could find, they were waiting 1 1/2 yrs. for him. Being the addictive person that I am, I originally wanted 6 but now @ 4 I think that's enough! I have 2 females and I'm having trouble deciding w/c one to keep? 1 is a clone of my male Artie, she looks just like him, but w/o the irritating "Male traits" that he has and the other one is soooo tiny and a clone of Abigail, but she is so small that she is more delicate and I have to watch her more! We all get along and I have no problems with my "Pack" until my BF. gets Home from Work.....he was already complaining that the 2 were enough! He makes comments all the time about how much work they are, although I don't know why b/c he barely has to spend time w/them? I'm the one cleaning, walking/exercising, spending and caring for them 24 hrs. a day! He is a Dog Person.....he used to raise "Boxers". I only work 2 nights a week so I can afford them financially and time wise too. I don't know why he's putting pressure on me to sell one! I wish I could sell him? I haven't posted pics. yet b/c I still haven't figured out my digital camera? I'm curious b/c I don't see a diffference in 4 compared to 1? Except in Grooming time and Vet. cost? Thanks for your opinions (in Advance) Aloha* |

| I have 3...a yorkie and 2 chi's 2 females and 1 male Its not expensive at all! the only time it cost is when you have to take them to be spade/neutered. Of coruse you have to be ready for emergencies. Once they're all housebroken it'll be easier..I know it was for me It's really cute they play together..sleep together..eat together..go outside together..tease each other..chase everything together..you get the idea oh and I forgot to mention the annual vaccinations for all 4 Last edited by Marcellacml; 12-09-2006 at 06:11 AM. |

| I have 4 dogs -- 2 Yorkies, a Jack Russell and a Dachshund. Some people think we are crazy. But we love them all. It does get to be a lot sometimes. Especially the two puppies not being housebroke yet. But they are so worth it! They entertain us, love us, give companionship and are just a lot of fun! Each of them has their own special personality. They all get along great and I know they enjoy their lives too. It is a big responsibility though. I have been very fortunate with their health, but still we joke that our vet is financing their new building with our $$. The accessories (some vital and some for fun) can really add up too. Then their is the fact that you are tied down a lot. Going on vacation can get very creative. It takes a lot of thought before deciding to have 4 dogs -- but if you decide it is for you and your boyfriend (I think you need to agree if you are living together) then ENJOY!!!! Whoever said you can't buy happiness never bought a Yorkie!!!!

| I have 6 furbabies, 2 yorkies, 1 morkie & german shepherd, 2 cats my kids left when they moved out.. Max my GSD stays outside 95% of the time and Lexie, Bear & Peanut are inside most of the time(potty breaks outside) three isn't anyharder than having 1.

| I have 3 dogs (and a cat). Two yorkies and one larger (50 lb) mix breed dog. Two yorkies is so much fun. I will never have just one again. If something were to happen of one of them I would definitely get another one. However, I think 2 little ones is enough for me and 4 would be too many little bodies under foot. JMO

| I have 3 Yorkies and 1 Golden Retreiver. I did have 4 Yorkies, but sold her to a great family after having her spayed at 9 months. I thought it was a lot of work, but now feel like one is missing. I'll either keep one of my upcoming litters or buy one. I'll just have to wait and see. My husband thinks we have enough too. BUT, I'm the one who grooms them, takes them to the Vet, plays with them the most, feeds them, cleans up after them and most everything else. So, if I want another one or another 4, it's up to me!!!!
