| Barking/Whining help Since the day I brought Bernie home we knew that he was going to be a vocal pup. He'd make little noises when he eats, always talking, etc. Well my bf has had it. Our situation is a little worse right now b/c Kona is in heat and so we are doing everything we need to to keep Bernie away from her. Anyway, last night we put Bernie in the ex-pen to sleep since we need to keep the two seperated. Then when he jumped out of the expen we put him in the crate. Well he would not shut up. Barking/whining/making all sorts of noise. My bf basically had it last night. I don't know what to do. He wants to get a bark collar or something to make him stop. Any ideas?

| Maybe you could put her in the crate, and leave him out. Or crate them both. it might upset him that he is in and she is out. I anticipated this issue with my two and have made them sleep in crates right from the beginning. When Ollie was in heat I was sure glad I had started that practice. it seemed like night time was the only time that everyone was quiet. |
