| Welcome yeah also if you look around to purchase a good yorkie or registered dog, not good dog will be under 800 dollars let me tell you that if you want your moneys worth make sure you pay your moneys worth, because if you want something that wont dent your budget then you will end up paying for what you paid for, so do your research first, and make sure that you dont rush into things, its been about half a year since i got into wanting a yorkie and here i am 6 months after about 2 weeks away from getting my pup sent to me, im so exited, also theres hella scammers on the internet so make sure i advise you dont send money over seas and make sure its from a real reputable breeder theres many info on this site that has helped me out and i hope it helps you as well... AND YES THE BREED IS BEAUTIFUL YOU WOULD LOVE THEM (i say them because im sure like the rest of us in here, will end up getting more than 1) |

| I am so satisfied with my yorkie, it was more joyful than I thought and I have no regrets. I've had other dogs before, but I must say, I am a yorkie lover tried and true. Nothing against other breeds, but this is the one for me.

| I've never had a Chiwawa but the biggest difference I think would be the personality besides the obvious coat difference. The coat is difinitely much more time consuming with the grooming, unless you opt for the shorter cuts but that still takes time or $$ to keep up. Personality wise? Yorkies are fun! Many are stubborn and tenacious. Some are lap puppies others are independent. But they will difinitely keep you entertained! Love em ALL!

| I'm definitely addicted to Yorkies. I fell in love with them when I saw them on "Old School". Silly, I know But now I wish I could have 50 of them! I get my new baby in April. What a long time to wait!! but totally worth it. They are just so fun and wonderful companions! They get so attached to you, so it's hard not to get attached back! |

| Yorkies looks 1000 better than Chihuahuas in my opinion (I have both). Many yorkies are very active and energetic, chis much calmer and a better lap dogs. Personally, I prefer chis personality and yorkies look |

Yorkies are very lovable and very loyal, they love to be held. They do require grooming regularly. They are a little stubborn when it comes to potty training, but after they "get it" they are good. Good luck! | |

| HI and welcome to YT! I have a Chihuhaua, a Maltese and a Yorkie. There's much to learn aboutthe Yorkie breed, as they are very different from a Chi. But thety are well worth all the learning and effort because they are a wonderful, beautiful, spunky little breed.

| Yorkies are wonderful, beautiful, and can be very expensive! But they are worth every penny!!! I disagree that you have to pay at least $800 for a 'good' yorkie though. We searched for a second one and ended up getting him for less than $200....no he doesn't have papers, but his parents were on the premises and we ask lots and lots of questions! We didn't care if he had papers, we had no intention of breeding and making money off of him.......he was strictly bought for the enjoyment of our family. Sabastian is now 2 years old, and he is perfect to us! 5 pounds of nothing but loyalty, love, stubborness, and joy!!!! Yorkies can get extremely expensive though, and you also need to weigh in the fact of grooming......I agree also that the 'potty-training' can be tough, but they are sooooo worth everything! Good luck and let us know what you decide........I can go ahead and tell you that if you are going through all the questions and pondering of getting a yorkie, then you will be joining us on here in no time with one of your own!!! Good luck~ |
