Yorkies are wonderful, beautiful, and can be very expensive! But they are worth every penny!!! I disagree that you have to pay at least $800 for a 'good' yorkie though. We searched for a second one and ended up getting him for less than $200....no he doesn't have papers, but his parents were on the premises and we ask lots and lots of questions! We didn't care if he had papers, we had no intention of breeding and making money off of him.......he was strictly bought for the enjoyment of our family. Sabastian is now 2 years old, and he is perfect to us! 5 pounds of nothing but loyalty, love, stubborness, and joy!!!! Yorkies can get extremely expensive though, and you also need to weigh in the fact of grooming......I agree also that the 'potty-training' can be tough, but they are sooooo worth everything!
