Donating YT 11K Club Member | Missing Teeth Teddy has lost 3 baby teeth already and I have yet to see any of them..I think he swallowed them or something. I just see the empty spaces in his mouth. But now I notice that he has 4 more loose teeth! What should I do? I really want to keep one for memory but it doesn't matter if I can't. I just want to make sure he's fine. He's 5 mos. Any advice? Does it hurt them when their teeth fall out? |

| When my yorkie lost his baby teeth I found some stuck to toys. I can't remember if I kept any of them or not, but check his plush toys.. there just might be some teeth attached to it. |

| Emma lost a lot of teeth around that age too. My vet said they usually swallow them and that we wouldn't even notice because we wouldn't find them, and this seemed completely ok with her. Well, we DID find them sometimes, in the carpet, in her water bowl, stuck in toys. I kept some...the little front ones that come out first are so tiny and cute, and the back big molars are somewhat nasty looking! Sometimes they come out bloody, and sometimes we saw them crooked in her mouth-totally freaky. But, I don't think it hurts them, I think it's a relief to get the loose ones out because I think the loose ones bug them. Emma used to rub her face on the ground when she had loose teeth, and sometimes they'd come out. I'd just give lots of hard chewy things to him until they all come out. Oh, and, they have many more teeth than you think they do, so he'll probably lose them for quite awhile longer. The ones not lost on their own will come out in a spay/neuter. |

| Get an old sock and play tug of war with him and one of those loose ones may come out and you will have one to save

| I used to have a German Sheperd growing up and found one of her baby teeth once. But they were way bigger and esy to find LOL. As much as I was hoping, I've never seen any of Pepper's, I imagine he swallowed them but I'll check his toys too, never thought of that

Peeka is losing his baby teeth to and i had just been outside and i walked in and sat on the couch well Peeka came and sat by me and i noticed this weird smell so i looked over because Peeka was licking quite a bit and he was covered in blood The whole side of his chest and leg was covered i was freaking out i thought the cats had got him or something well then i noticed his beard was bloody to so then i thought he got the cats lol but i opened his mouth and to my horror there was his tooth bent backward dangling there i was so freaked out But about an hour later it fell out and he seems to be doing fine now but it can sometimes be scary lol i haven't found any of his teeth yet. good luck

Donating YT 11K Club Member | YAY it worked guys! His toother front top teeth were really loose. Well I had a pair of sweats on and he was pulling on them and I said oooohhh and I pulled and looked on the floor and nada. Then I saw he was missing one tooth, so I looked again and found it. I barely saw it. It's soooo tiny! lol |
