Yes, she passed away. I personally do not know what happened to her dogs, but I'm sure she found them amazing homes before she passed. Here is a blog that Mike (alaskayorkie) posted about her. It sounds like she was an amazing woman.

LOl ye I realized it was legit I was just being funny-but then I read she had passed and was like -ugh

-can I erase my comments about it being a "fake" photo-shoot? -it was too late to even edit glad no one took my comment in bad taste though. She seems to have been a truly amazing person!

Ha, no worries. I'm sure she'd be flattered that we're still marveling over her picture so many years later. She had a great sense of humor, too, and would have appreciated your predicament!

All the dogs in the picture, I'm sure, were placed long ago. She had no current litters when she got sick, and the length of her illness gave her plenty of time to rehome her personal sires and dams.

Thank you to whomever bumped this up !!. This is by far one of my most favorite threads/pictures in all the years I've been on YT. Seeing all those beautiful Yorkies in the tub, just makes me want that many more in my tub!!!!!

Just wanted to say what a beautiful tribute you wrote. She must of been one of those special people that only come around once in awhile.

I wish I had nine yorkies in my tub! That is too cute and should be entered in the dog calendar. I love the page a day calendar put out by Workman publisher. It has a picture of a Yorkie on the front of the box! This is the best calendar. It sits on your desk or table. I buy 10 or more of these and give them to my dog lovers for Christmas. Check this out, you will always get one!
