| Do you leave their hair up all the time? Our morning ritual is getting his hair brushed and put up in a scrunchy followed by a treat. I was thinking maybe I could leave his hair up at night since you can't see is eyes with it down but I'm not sure how he would feel about that. What do you guys do?

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I used to take Chanels hair down every single night - she got a complete head massage and lots of TLC and it really was nice for both of us - then I just put a claw clip on her head to hold her long hair out of her eyes - but when we got Cheri - instead of relaxing head massages she turned it into play time so now I just leave the hair up....I do brush them at night and make sure the bows are loose so their little heads get a break. |

| Thanks guys! I'm going to try it tonight. I'll make sure it's nice and loose and see how it goes. He's so used to having it up that maybe he won't even notice.

YT 5000 Club Member | Does anyone use a clip to keep their hair up? Chloe will leave in rubber bands but her hair is sooo thin and silky I don't like leaving the bands in there. Is there any type of clip anyone has used that your baby will leave in?

I like them because they're cheap and come in a lot of colors.

| Winston has bangs. Maggie gets to be a sheep dog at night. I take off her topknot, massage her little head and comb it through at night. We have a hair session every morning.

| No, I take it out at night. I redo it in the morning. It doesn't seem like it'd be comfortable sleeping with a pony or clip in. Maybe after it's longer I'll have to leave it in so she can see when she first gets up

| Tatum's used to stay up all day and night, getting recombed and fixed every few days BUT then along came Stormie, her Australian Shepherd sister. They way those two play, I noticed that the hair at the base of the topknot started breaking. I now leave it down all the time unless we dress up for something special but it's not growing out very quickly at all! Her's is just too silky and/or fragile to leave up I guess.

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | well so far i can only do a top knot for speacial occasions lol Peeka's hair is still a little short to put all up all the time but i really like how V braids the top knot i think it is very cute and it looks really comfortable for the babies too!! this would be a great idea to let them sleep in and just put your top knot in again in the morning.
