| I think its fine as long as you dont mix the kibbles and the raw together.

To reap the full benefits of a raw diet you should feed raw only... but if you still want to feed kibble, use a high quality brand and feed it at a separate meal several hours after the raw. You could do raw in the AM and kibble in the PM (or vice versa). I've been feeding a raw diet for over a year now... If you want any info feel free to send me a PM.

Both of those foods are EXTREMELY high in protein content (42% each). I have always heard that since yorkies are not working dogs, they should get no more than around 30% protein from their diet...well, around 28% for puppies and around 18% for adults. I got that information from here: http://lowchensaustralia.com/health/protein.htm I know that many experts say that dogs require high protein content because that is what they ate in the wild, but yorkies never lived in the wild and are not working dogs. That leads me to believe that they do not require as high of a protein content as other large dogs and working dogs. I have always heard that too much protein can lead to kidney failure. If you are looking for a super-premium quality food with a lower protein content, any food off this list is a great choice.

She's asking about the raw frozen diets. The kibble wouldn't be "raw" and doesn't come in "medallions". Most of their dry foods contain about 26%. Only one of their formulas, the "Raw Instinct" is 42%. The rest are 26%.... All the ingredients and analysis can be found on their website.

Yup... "Raw Instinct" is a dry kibble... And it is confusing if you aren't familiar with their products.... Well if you ever want to learn anything about raw (or BARF, whatever you wanna call it) let me know. I have a bunch of resources I could share! PS - Elle... I sent you a PM.
