Both of those foods are EXTREMELY high in protein content (42% each). I have always heard that since yorkies are not working dogs, they should get no more than around 30% protein from their diet...well, around 28% for puppies and around 18% for adults. I got that information from here:

I know that many experts say that dogs require high protein content because that is what they ate in the wild, but yorkies never lived in the wild and are not working dogs. That leads me to believe that they do not require as high of a protein content as other large dogs and working dogs. I have always heard that too much protein can lead to kidney failure.

If you are looking for a super-premium quality food with a lower protein content, any food off this list is a great choice.
