Are most yorkie lovers this mean?
 
Is it me or are yorkie lovers just mean. I'm fairly new to this site and heard about it through a friend. I decided to join and read different threads and post and even posted some threads myself and I have been slammed with attitude and seen others being ganged up on just for simply asking a question or believing something different from others. Dont' get me wrong I have come across a few nice people but what is up with that? Why can't everyone just write to each other with some sense of respect?

I don't think 'every yorkie lover' is mean! I think a lot of people on here are very passionate about a few specific touchy subjects, and maybe sometimes people get carried away and don't stop to think how bombarding their responses are. Now in some cases, yeah there are mean comments made that are just uncalled for, but the nice, friendly, helpful and welcoming people here out weigh the bad!!

I'm glad you decided to join YT, and I hope you plan to stay with us here. Welcome!

I've noticed a couple of "battles" reflecting strong opinions myself but I just stay out of those threads. I have opinions but if they are going to upset someone........there's so many other threads with friendly people so don't let that stop you from having fun on this site. There are a lot more positive and friendly people here than not! But your point is well taken!

I'm new to this too and I agree that there are just some very strong willed people in here. I dont think anyone means anything by it. The one thing WE ALL have in common is that we love OUR YORKIES and we have different ways of expressing it. If I feel a thread is "too tough" for me, I stay out. If I post a thread and get some comments that are strong, I just try to look at the fact that they are just expressing their sentiments their own way. I have gotten a lot of help in here in my short time as a "Yorkie parent" and I plan on staying here!

This is a great place to share info, get and give help, and laugh a bit too... Some topics are tough and come across strong, but I don't think people are mean or hurtful on purpose... Stay a while and get to know everyone... you will be glad you did!

There are some threads that turn ugly sometimes. I just find it is better to stay out of those threads. But even in those threads it is usually because someone is passionate about something

Ive been on here for awhile and i can say that there are very nice people here. I can also say that ive encountered a few people with some "i guess you can say strong opinions." If they offend you in anyway just ignore it cuz there are lots of us who are pretty cool! You will soon find that YorkieTalk is very informative and fun! #1 it's fun!!!:aimeeyork

I thought that way toO but then i just jumped in and got into it. I even met an awsome chicky who did my pictures of sonia for my avatar! N E Who...everyone has an opinion. Some people are more aggresive then other's. Like the real world! :D

I don't think I'm mean either. There are some very passionate and some opinionated people, but I don't know that they are mean. I have met some truly great people here. Don't get sucked into the negative threads and be respectful yourself and you will usually get the same in return. Hope you stick around.

i agree some people including mysalf believe about certain things in certain ways and disagree with others, but for the most part i don't think anyone intentionally tries to be mean here.

There are a lot of knowledgeable yorkie owners here who truly care about their babies. I don't think any of us are mean and I hope you don't take things that way.

I've learned a lot about yorkies in general and enjoyed reading about other people and seeing all the pictures. I hope you will too.
