wow some of you got yours way cheap lol...all 3 i purchased were between 800 and 1,000.....2 are mine 1 i gave to my daughter and grand daughter..
i agree if they were 200 around here I would have a few more runnin around lol

I paid 600.00 for Bella she came with akc papers too, and she is worth every cent.

I paid 1200 for mine. I love her . She is a puppy right now and we are starting
dog training today. wish me luck

We paid $1200 for ours too...no papers; we didn't care. He's purebred, so it didn't matter to us. My dh at first was a little shocked by the price at first, but he says it's the "BEST $1200 we've ever spent" over and over. I have a friend who bred her male and female who are both registered and papered and sold the puppies for $400 each...said she couldnt' get more than that where she lives...I almost flew there to get one, but we don't really need (or Max doesn't need) another companion in the house

I paid $1200 for Ben and am paying $1500 for the little female we are getting. Price depends on so many things -- their pedigree, the parents, the puppy potential, the breeder and the area they are being sold in. Some puppies on the internet seemed to be WAY overpriced. Some in hometown newspapers seem to go for a steal.

I got Mollie for $500, I got her from a good friend of mine. Wyatt was one of Mollie's babies.

We had a yorkie years ago that got run over when I was pregnant with Ethan, also got him from a good friend of mine and boy did she gives us a deal $100.

But, like everyone on here my babies are priceless.

Duke was $1400, he is AKC registered and was bought to breed... but then he had to have a femoral osteotomy when he was a puppy and thankfully, his first Mom and Dad did not want to go ahead and breed him and take the chance of passing it on.

Hannah was only $300. But that was 8 years ago. Now they go for around $500-$700 here where I live.

Where in Illinois Hannahsmom? A couple of breeders near me south subs of chicago told me from 1000 and up!!

I bought when he was 3 months, he is now 6 months. He is AKC registered and the owner was NOT a breeder. She had 1 pair and would let them mate once a year, Charlie came from her 3rd litter. He is 4 Lbs and not expected to get much bigger.

But I do agree, papers or not, I still love him the same.

I live in So Ill. The ones I see for 5-700 are usually for sale in the newspaper. So they're probably hobby breeders. Dont know how they good they actually are?
