I paid $100 for my first pair of Yorkies. They were AKC and the guy had his DNA Certification too.

ohmigod!! I want to leave my hometown and migrate where dogs are not as expensive!

I paid US$1500 for my Junior (yorkshire)who has papers and champion bloodline, US$600 for tintin another yorkshire -tintin has no papers and weigh more than 7pounds, 8.8pounds to be exact. n my silky is US$350 with no papers as well.

Boy! are you lucky!! around here you can't touch a yorkie for under $1000.00 and THAT'S a good price! I paid $1000.00 for Sadie (almost 3 years ago) and Lillie (who is the new family member) $1200.00 and I got a break because she was the second one I bought from the breeder...she was supposed to be $1500.00!

I'm glad I don't live there! I would have a house full of furbabies!!

I didn't have to pay for Nathan . I had him from a rescuer when he was 3 days old . It was really hard to save him . My reward now is having a very beautiful healthy boy .

I am very proud of Nathan . It wasn't easy everyday taking care of him but I am very glad I did it . You can see him on my avatar . I'll change it very soon because he has changed a lot .

No, $500 is very reasonable for a yorkie. I bought one of mine in Alabama, $900 and one in Kentucky $1,000.
