| Yepper, very familiar with the butt problem. Poor Toby when something gets stuck to his fur, just walks really slow (usually he runs like a speeding bullet) and stays in the humped position. When we see that, we know we are going to have to do the butt scrub. Fortunately I have a tub in the garage and it only takes a minute and all my "doggie" cleaning stuff is right next to the tub. We also have that problem with the Maltese on occasion.

| never had that problem with max but poor little dixie had that problem twice when she was younger too and then i read to keep the hair back there trimmed i too use a mustache trimmer it works well and it sure kept the problem from returning the first time it happened it was so bad bless her heart she cried as we tryed to get it off the more she cried the more i cried finally i took her to vet and made him do it i am such a softy lol ... so u arent alone i think its common so just trim trim trim lol

| i have had that problem only once! i bring Gracie to a groomer i know and i stay while she is grooming her and see her the whole time!

| my male did that the other day it was REALLY disgusting we were outside playing i took the hose to his little behind! needless to say he didn't like it and ran off he was mad at me for a little but his booty was clean poor dogs

| You might think I'm crazy but I wipe Chewy when he's done going....We pick him up and he is on our laps so much I want to make sure he is clean!!! So far so good...But hi IS very young yet!!!

| I have not yet had the pleasure with Gracie, but with three long hair cats, it is something I experience all too frequently. Usually the fix is a quick but bath. Hold them on their back, stick the but under the faucet until it all goes away. Gross......
