| heating pad recommendation. can someone recommend a good heating pad for the winter that can be used while we are away at work. Our house is huge so it's impossible for us to turn on the thermostat for our girl. Something that isnt' too hot, safe, and can be put beneath her bedding. |

| I found this after some research online....http://www.snugglesafe.ca/index.htm I like that there's no cord and can go on car rides, movable, safe, not chewable, can't shock (in case they pee on it) etc Has anyone used this and tell us first-hand their review? |

| Have it, LOVE it! Gus doesn't like it but I think it's because he gets too hot. He doesn't like to lie in anyone's lap for long either. I use it all the time for my cold feet. It stays warm for so long - at least seven to eight hours. It can get too hot if you put it in the microwave too long but once you figure out the correct time it's great. I've found 4 minutes 44 seconds is best for mine. You can also buy a wrap but if you are creative it would be easy to make one. I bought it years ago for $35 but have seen it sold for as low $20 so look around if you choose to buy it.

| I didn't notice I clicked on the link for Canada. I thought they were selling it for $39.95. I see now it's only $24.99.

| sunbeam is the best brand out there. but most are being made now with timers. I did find a sunbeam one at wal-mart for my guys that has the option for a timer or to stay on. luckily for me though, I can take my babies to work with me. lol perks of working in a boutique/doggie spa!

| Have you tried a self warming bed or blanket?? They don't have any cords or electricity or no microwaving and no risk of getting too hot. The reflect body heat keeping you nice and warm. I love them, they work great!! And they are cheap to buy or cheap to make. Here is a link so you can see something like what I am talking about. http://www.petedge.com/shopping/prod...ProductID=4518 Also here is a link to make one yourself. I am a member of spoiled maltese and they posted on how to make one. http://spoiledmaltese.com/forum/inde...opic=17329&hl=

No Longer a Member | If it gets really cold, maybe put her in a room with a small electric heater set to go on and off? Just a thought. My Dad used to have one in his huge dog house. It was up off the floor and he built a flap over the door to hold the heat in, the dogs could still go in and out as they pleased. I fussed about it when I was young and he said the dogs were warmer than we were. |

| i agree with the suggestion of the self warming heater. I got one that was meant for a cat for Gracie last year and she loves it. She will actually drag it out of her crate and it to the living room when it is cold. I think that it was only 13 dollars last winter. They sell them @ wal mart.
