Yorkie Lover Donating Member | ![]() I am so glad to hear everything turned out ok. I worry about this all the time as depending on which way our girls would run it could be pasture land that just seems endless!! Magic says to tell Roxy if she wants to go for an afternoon run to just ask and I am sure mom would love to do that - with a leash and harness!! (My mom runs with me sometimes!)

| ![]() I used to always go out the back door so if she did get out it was just the fenced in yard, so I could put her back inside and shut the door. But lately, when I go out, I say stay and she jumps up in the window and watches. But this time, Krysten was in the same room, and Roxy was by her so I didn't even think about it. Bad decision! When Krysten went to the Dr.s for her working papers last mo., she found out she has a serious case of GERD and possibly asthma. Thank-goodness the Dr. gave her an inhaler to keep on hand, just in case, and it appears that she had an asthma attack during the chase. She couldn't breathe and her face was numb then tingly. If anyone out there has asthma, is this what is feels like? She used her inhaler when she got home and was ok later. Oh, I have been trying to figure out how to set up a barrier and I think I figured it out. I am going to give it a try.

| ![]() wow..that is scary. can you put him in his crate before opening the door or have a tall puppy gate or something at the main door area so that he will not be able to dash out like that? it is a good thing that you guys are safe but do be careful. I live in a condo so I don't have that problem but i could imagine if we move to a landed property..it is scary!
