				 | Here is Sissy laying next to my sandal (ladies size 9). She is 4 lbs 5 oz. I think even next to an object it is still hard to distinguish size by weight, cause folks who know Yorkies always ask if Sissy made it to 3 lbs cause her body is small - she is just packed solid!!

				 | Weight isn't everything. My little guy weighs 12 pounds. And - when he is out and running with his 5 pound neighbor - you'd never guess there is that much difference in their weight. The little 5 pounder is longer legged - and ooooooooooh so thin - but really as tall as my guy that weighs 12 pounds. My Yorkie is shorter legged - and a heavier dog. He is like a rock. When the vet picked him up, he said "Wow - he's sure a lot heavier than he looks!" So - it also depends on the build of your dog - Carol Jean |
