Could I see your pictures of... Different sized yorkies near a common object? It is so hard for me to picture the size difference of a 4lb vs. a 5lb vs a 6lb... I have seen 2-3lb yorkies in person... they were sooo tiny! it seems that a 5lb baby would just be twice that size (which is still small) but with body structure/muscle mass etc I just can't picture it... |

Please excuse the messy hair. 1 Attachment(s) It was bedtime and the ponytails were out for the night. This is a good comparison of my 4 pounder and 5 pounder. It seems like a pound makes such a difference. |

Good idea Maybe everyone could place them next to a gallon jug A gallon of milk is 8 pounds |
2 Attachment(s) Here is my girl in the smallest baby pool you would find at the stores. She is 6 1/2 lbs maybe even 7 lbs now. To me...she is still tiny. :D |
3 Attachment(s) Hi, Here is Max, he is 3.4 oz an Bobo is 5 lbs :dogsm3: |
1 Attachment(s) Here's Topher modelling his new fall jacket. He was neutered in May and weighed 10lbs then. I don't think he's put on much weight since then. I still consider him small...he's heavy if I have to hold him for any length of time, but he still is small compared to any other dogs I know. I, too, find it hard to judge the size of these little guys from a photo. I find for the most part that they look bigger in the picture than they do in person. (they say a camera adds 10lbs...lol!!) |
1 Attachment(s) Heres Rocky, he's just about 6lbs. He's laying on part of the advertiser.Attachment 74334 |

2 Attachment(s) OK,I am not sure how much this will help.... pic#1 is Hope(4.3lbs) sitting in a standard dining chair. That is Tootie(16lbs) below her. pic#2 is Hope sitting in front of a standard size pillow... I would say she is perfect elbow to hand size.... LOL d |
Thanks, this is sooo helpful! It really is hard to tell just how small these pups are :) |
1 Attachment(s) This is my 8lb baby with a tennis ball! |
