My female is aggresive too! I have a 4 month old female who is really weird. Some days she can be the sweetest little girl and then other days like today she turns into the devil.
Today I had to crate her a few times because she was trying to bite me but it wasnt play biting at all. She had that vicous look in her eyes and she was just looking like cujo. I gave her the alpha shake and tried holding her down on her back and nothing worked so i crated her for a while.
When I let her out she was running all over the place with a really mean growl, barks, and really vicously attacking her toys and shaking them like crazy. She was like this when we first brought her home then she calmed down but now she is crazy again.
i didnt put up with it and corrected her every single time I caught her doing something mean. I even put her on lease and made her walk everywhere I went. Then I tested her bigtime with two french fries I found on the floor that she wanted really bad. I cut them up into tiny little pieces and used them as treats. I made her do something each and every time she wanted one. She was sweet as pie and no biting or anything until I ran out of fries then she went back to her devil self.
So we will see how her attitude is tomorrow or she will be spending some more time in her crate until she can behave.
I also had two german shepards in the past and found that my female was always more aggressive than my male. In fact I had to get rid of her for that very same reason. She was a bit older than a year and one day just snapped. She actually snapped at me like she wanted to eat me alive. I had to get rid of her to the shelter as she would no longer take correction nor listen to anyone.
I never had a problem with the male. He was extremely playful and a real goofball. I enjoyed him so much. Eventually we had to get rid of him too as he missed his sister and would escape out of our yard every night.
I hope we all come to find some help for our babies as i would really like for sox to be a good girl and stay that way! |
