| ![]() I agree with everyone's comments - the girl is irresponsible, neglegent, and down right criminal (abusive) in her actions. No living thing should be treated in such a way - much less our beloved Yorkies. Do whatever it takes to get the baby away from her - but in my humble opinion - it must be reported to someone - action has to be taken - I don't want her to be able to go out an get another Yorkie and neglect and abuse her !!! I'd be calling the newspapers and television stations - kidnap the baby if I had to to bring attention to this woman and what she is doing! God forbid she successfully breeds her and perpetuates the problem. PLEASE take action ! ![]()

| ![]() OMG!!!! You have to do something to help this poor innocent little girl... I agree with everyone else, take her and talk to her about how she is abusing this little girl, and then depending on her reaction, then you can react,,, If she dont care, say well you better bring the police with you then cuz im not giving her back to you. or say shes such a joy id love to keep her for my own. Or, Hell, just take her to a forever home where she will be treated with love, care and compassion... Theres my opnion! |

| ![]() how nutz is she, you should definatly do something to help out the poor baby. if your worried about reporting her because of the relationship i think you can make an anonymous (totally spelled that wrong) call. |

| ![]() I agree with the other poster, I would take this little dog to your vet and explain what is going on. Make up an excuse as to why. If this girl is starving the dog to keep it tiny she needs to have the dog taken away. Tell the vet what is going on. And the vet should keep the dog and report the abuse and also make the owner come in herself to pick up the dog. That way the vet can tell this girl what she is doing wrong. Does she even check on the dog when she drops it off for a week or so? It sounds like she wants all the benefits of having a Yorkie {the attention} and none of the responsibility. I can not believe someone is so immature and stupid as to think that by starving a dog they will keep it small! ![]() I am tempted to tell you to lie and say the dog ran away and keep the dog yourself but I know that is not right. Call animal abuse

| ![]() Ugh! That's a crappy situation to be in. Do you tick the person off and defend the dog, or let it go and keep a friend? ![]() |

| ![]() First of all I would feed the poor dog and take it to get examined and documented on the negelect. I would turn them in for animal crulety. They don't deserve to own a pet. If you can't do that then at the very least say that you won't watch the dog again. JMO

| ![]() In my humble opinion it just would not be right to compound the crime by another crime. It would be a crime to keep or rehome this girls dog and then lie to her. You could probably get in mega trouble doing that! The dogs owner needs to be educated for sure but stealing her dog and lying to her about it is no way to educate her either. I would however give her fair warning after explaining to her that withholding food will lead to starvation of her pet but will not have the end result she is seeking. If she doesnt clean up her act then I would try to talk her into giving up the dog or face animal abuse charges! I would also make sure the poor little baby got as much food as she wanted to eat while in my care and would call your vet and explain what is going on not only for the babe's sake but so you will have additional documentation if needed to get the pup away from this situation. I am so sad for this puppy! I too would like to just whisk her away so please dont think I am being judgemental but 2 wrongs never make a right. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I may be a bad person... but I would tell her the dog ran away... She probably wont care anyway. I would not send the dog home with her. I cant imagine her saying not feed it... So did you feed it. That would have been the first thing I did. I would tell her you were really sorry but you opened your door and out she ran. This lady doesnt deserve a dog. Just think about his poor baby going hungry just cause this stupid lady dont have enough sense. I agree...I WOULD DEFEND THE DOG TOO! |

| ![]() I'm not sure if talking to the owner is going to make a difference. If she has done nothing but mistreat and starve her untill now a stranger's chat or threat will most likely not change that. Perhaps you can tell her that "obviously" the dog is too much of a burden to her and you can help her re home the animal. If instead you decide to report her please keep it anonymous otherwise you will never know the faith of this poor little girl... How sad this is... Some people are just not meant to be parents... ![]()
