| We've been giving our little girls cooked peas and green beans and they love them! They don't get anymore then a tablespoon in their food but its enough to keep them interested in something different. They are 4 1/2 lbs each and almost 7 and 9 yr old yorkies. Their cousin is a 2 yr old , 9 lbs, Italian Greyhound who loves baby carrots ! |

| I'm sure that vegetables are very healthy for dogs -- assuming they get other foods that they need also. My neighbor puts hands full of still-frozen mixed vegetable in her poodle's bowl. And he doesn't even wait for them to thaw out. He quickly gobbles them up. Every dog I have ever owned has loved carrots. I give them a whole raw carrot a day - and they quickly gobble them up. I planted string beans one year - and went out one day to discover that my dog had picked most of them. He had them scattered all over the yard and was sitting there with two in his mouth...chomping away. Plus - dogs eat grass (not because they are sick - but because they like to eat grass -- just ask your vet!) ***** If your dog likes peas - he'd probably like other vegetables as well. Have fun! | Sure you can give your little guys peas. Just not to often, and just a few, as in maybe a 1/8 cup. I throw some on the floor and they just love them. Green beans are also good! |

| What other vegies are good for them ? I gave Piccolo a piece of potato and he liked it. Can I give him frozen, uncooked mixed vegetables?

| My 6month old loves bell peppers, she won't eat her food without it. Also, green beans, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, and brocolli are all on the list! |
