I'm sure that vegetables are very healthy for dogs -- assuming they get other foods that they need also.

My neighbor puts hands full of still-frozen mixed vegetable in her poodle's bowl. And he doesn't even wait for them to thaw out. He quickly gobbles them up.

Every dog I have ever owned has loved carrots. I give them a whole raw carrot a day - and they quickly gobble them up.

I planted string beans one year - and went out one day to discover that my dog had picked most of them. He had them scattered all over the yard and was sitting there with two in his mouth...chomping away.

Plus - dogs eat grass (not because they are sick - but because they like to eat grass -- just ask your vet!)

***** If your dog likes peas - he'd probably like other vegetables as well.

Have fun!
