| You know it's love.... OK, so I HATE to cook. I do it as little as possible. I live alone, and cooking for 1 absolutely stinks, so I don't do it much. I posted yesterday that Sadie's had some tummy problems for a couple of days & it wasn't really getting better, & what should I do. Well, everyone suggested chicken/rice. So, because I love her SO much, I got my butt in the kitchen & cooked her up some dinner. I never feed her people food. It's a rule of mine. When I got her bowl & started to put the food in it, she knew she was getting something really good...different than her normal food. She ATE that food SO fast! I said, "Slow down...it's yours...no one is taking it away." She thought she was in heaven. Just so she doesn't expect it every night.

| I hate cooking, too!! But, I cook for Sissy's meals too!! She stopped eating her dry kibble when she got sick at 9 months. Although she will eat kibble now, she doesn't eat enough to constitute a eal. So, she gets boiled chicken with sweet potatoes, sometimes brown rice and various vegetables mixed in. I usually cook up a big batch and then freeze it until needed. Today's menu included the chicken, sweet potatoes, asparagus and cauliflower!! She also gets yogury for breakfast. Not at all spoiled!!

OK...you win! THAT'S love. I couldn't do it every day...well, I guess I would if I had to, but I just hate to cook, so it wouldn't be much fun.

| What a good mommy! Chicken won't hurt her anyway. Does your heart good to see them eat like that, doesn't it?

| I LOVVVEE cooking. It's fun and I love trying new things and I must say I am an excellent cook, but when Coco is sick, I suddenly forget everything. I start to panick as I quickly make some chicken and white rice for her I turn into a total dork when she gets sick

| You should have added a veg or a nice salad for yourself then you would have been cooking for two.

| I cook chicken and rice for my three all the time. They have it more than they have dog food. THey really like it. I mix green beans or peas or carrots in. I cook every night. I am a good cook and I like to cook (and eat) a large variety of things. I love to have family and guests over and cook for them. I never thought I would be cooking for the dogs though. HAHA |
