You know it's love.... OK, so I HATE to cook. I do it as little as possible. I live alone, and cooking for 1 absolutely stinks, so I don't do it much. I posted yesterday that Sadie's had some tummy problems for a couple of days & it wasn't really getting better, & what should I do. Well, everyone suggested chicken/rice. So, because I love her SO much, I got my butt in the kitchen & cooked her up some dinner. I never feed her people food. It's a rule of mine. When I got her bowl & started to put the food in it, she knew she was getting something really good...different than her normal food. She ATE that food SO fast! I said, "Slow down...it's yours...no one is taking it away." She thought she was in heaven. Just so she doesn't expect it every night. :D |
Awwwwwwwww!!!!!!! Can you come cook for me too? Pwease? :p |

Of course I will...will do anything for a tummyache. |
Oh, how sweet is that. Girl, I loooove to cook. Too bad we are too far away or else I'd have you and Saddie over for dinner every day! |
I hate cooking, too!! But, I cook for Sissy's meals too!! She stopped eating her dry kibble when she got sick at 9 months. Although she will eat kibble now, she doesn't eat enough to constitute a eal. So, she gets boiled chicken with sweet potatoes, sometimes brown rice and various vegetables mixed in. I usually cook up a big batch and then freeze it until needed. Today's menu included the chicken, sweet potatoes, asparagus and cauliflower!! She also gets yogury for breakfast. Not at all spoiled!! |

OK...you win! THAT'S love. I couldn't do it every day...well, I guess I would if I had to, but I just hate to cook, so it wouldn't be much fun. |
What a good mommy! :D Chicken won't hurt her anyway. Does your heart good to see them eat like that, doesn't it? |
I LOVVVEE cooking. It's fun and I love trying new things and I must say I am an excellent cook, but when Coco is sick, I suddenly forget everything. I start to panick as I quickly make some chicken and white rice for her  I turn into a total dork when she gets sick :p |
You should have added a veg or a nice salad for yourself then you would have been cooking for two.:D |
Oh, I made enough for me tonight...I didn't eat at home last night, or I would have eaten it then. |
I cook chicken and rice for my three all the time. They have it more than they have dog food. THey really like it. I mix green beans or peas or carrots in. I cook every night. I am a good cook and I like to cook (and eat) a large variety of things. I love to have family and guests over and cook for them. I never thought I would be cooking for the dogs though. HAHA |
