I heard before that Dawn works and I used it the only time I got fleas in mine. It worked like a charm.. like someone else said I wouldnt use it often because it can dry out their skin... I just wanted a couple of days and then used their regular conditioning shampoo...

I dont have any problems with fleas but is good to have this info.

Per the ASPCA website, garlic can be dangerous for dogs. While I'm sure that a tiny bit probably wouldn't hurt, Yorkies are very small and you can never be too careful. Here is the list from aspca.org:

- Alcoholic beverages
- Avocado
- Chocolate (all forms)
- Coffee (all forms)
- Fatty foods
- Macadamia nuts
- Moldy or spoiled foods
- Onions, onion powder
- Raisins and grapes

- Garlic
- Products sweetened with xylitol

the vinegar rinse is great and makes the coat shiny and soft.
