| We've used the peroxide, baking soda, soap mixture when Stormie's gotten sprayed (our Aust. Shep)..... luckily Tatum never has. Yes, it works pretty well and it may take a repeat application but we could still smell skunk for a couple weeks afterwards whenever she would play in the sprinkler. I've heard the tomato juice method isn't as effective but then I've never personally tried it. I just have no idea what to tell you about the smell in your house. I DO really feel for you. It would drive me nuts smelling it. Hopefully some of the suggestions you've gotten here will work for the house problem! It must be skunk mating season or something because I drive about an hour each way to work (farm to market roads) and have driven through a "stinky cloud" every single day this week - 2 days I actually smelled one twice! Those boogers are lethal!! But being out in the country like we are, we have our fair share of them and Stormie loves, loves, loves to tango with them! I think she's just trying to be friendly but they don't see it that way!

| I heard toothpaste works. I was actually just talking to someone about this last weekend at that yorkie meet i went to. This ladies dog had been sprayed in the side of the face and she used toothpaste to get rid of the smell. Obviously wouldn't work on a larger dog, unless you own Colgate stock or something, but for our little guys, I would give it a try.
