| ![]() I hate to be negative, but I'm betting there is more to the story than simply moving. I hope things go well for you. Keep us "posted"!

![]() He is sitting on the baby so I'm guessing agression is not an issue. He looks adorable. Good luck

![]() Ok all I am back! I got him. You would not believe these people that I got him from! He is beautiful. They did not take care of him at all. As far as shots go I have his records. Otherwise he is all matted in the back end. Anything I can use that I can get from the Grocery store? It is too late to try to get cowboy magic. I need to groom this little guy now. All these people cared about was the money. I think they really needed it. Their house was a shack. Help I need to get his matts out now. I will post pics later. Thanks meeshue

![]() I've also heard cornstarch sold in the baby department next to the baby powder works with matts used with a dry coat and brush. You might be able to find Cowboy Magic locally - go to their website and do a store search - I've even heard people say they'e seen it at Petsmart. www.cowboymagic.com

![]() You could also try Johnson & Johnson's no more tangles or just clip throught the mats so that he doesn't get too stressed out. Congratulations on saving this furkid

![]() If I could, I would just take him to get him groomed this first time and tell them if they have to to go ahead & cut him down. You don't want to start out with him by hurting him or stressing him out. The hair will grow back . I'm glad you are going to give this sweet baby a good home. ![]()

![]() Meeshue -- Since you just got this little guy - I wouldn't put him throught the torture of have all his matts combed out. Let him relax and be comfortable in his new home for a while. Give him a short puppy cut that will be easy to comb - and then keep up with his grooming in the future - and let him grow whatever length you want. I think he's cute beause he looks a lot like mine. I just cut mine short again - and he's so cute, I can't imagine why I don't always keep him this way. Good luck! Carol Jean
