| OMG ... that poor baby! I wish I knew something about this but I don't. Hopefully, some of the more experienced members will be checking in soon and can tell you how to do it! I am so sorry you're having a problem with the baby and hope it will be better soon!

| Poor baby! I'm no expert like yorkierose but have you try stimulating the pup to poop and pee using a warm wet towel? |

| pup Why do you think she constipated? Is she straining or no pooping at all..could she be pottying when she is with her mom..mom will clean it up and you will never see any. Is she crying and seems uncomfortable? Be careful giving too much stuff to make her go..but if she is truly "stopped up"..use a small syringe with water water and just squirt a small amount in..if you get a big stool then you know she is constipated. I will post my email, anyone can contact me and I will give you my phone number..Primyork@aol.com Whispersmom is a retired RN and she is so good about answering questions for me! I can always call her for advise. |

| Hope poopless puppy is now pooping puppy!! Seriously, DO NOT use mineral oil or any stimulant or lubricant (mineral oil helps poo slide thru intestines) on a puppy so young. Also, do not put soap in the water for the enema. It is very irritating, that is how it works. If you decide to give an enema, as YorkieRose said use a syringe and give about 1-2mls and make sure you use PLENTY of Surgical jelly or vaseline on the syringe. I wonder what about the formula is causing the problem. Does it need to be adjusted in some way? I have given small amts of nutri-cal and that will help. But nothing works all the time. Has this baby been constipated on a regular basis since you have been feeding it? If so, the vet should see the wee one and check it. Soem puppies are born with congenital problems and I have seen a Maltese baby who had severe problems. Make sure everything that you use to rub its bum is warm..cotton balls soaked in warm water or warmed baby oil is good to try. If mom is only half-heartedly licking, put s little nutrical on the baby's butt and mom will lick that off and maybe stimulate the puppy. Gosh, I hope the vet has a solution to the problem..I am concerned about this baby and wonder if it has a problem with its digestive system..Please keep us in the loop.. |

| I'm feeding Esbilac 1 tablespoon two tablespoons of water. NO this is first time it was that bad. Yorkierose, Yes she was crying and her belly was full, and thanks so much for the answer. I was so worried about her and my morning started off with a bang. My daughter and her two kids are living with us right now. The girl is 3 and the boy is 6. she goes to school all but fridayand trust me she made up for being gone all day. I got up to the freezer door open and fudge cycles all over the floor and other food, my bathroom sink had vasline all down the drain. and then I walked back into the kitchen and she had made a frozen cake in the mirocwave. OHHHHHHHHHH i was so mad at her. She usually wakes me up but my arthsis was bothering me so i had laid back down and dozed off. Her mommy works nights and she didnt even hear her take money out of her room. Guess she was going shopping. I just had to get in car and leave, If id whipped her id beat her to death. Well things are better now.mommy clraned up the messes. My baby is better and has opened her eyes. The vet said if it happens again bring her in.
